Derry Vs Gethin should be a good scrap shame its for a WBA title rather than Gethins British Title how would you see this one going?

I dont know much about BJS opponent but 34 years old with only 5 stoppages to his name pretty safe to say he isnt a puncher but still 22-0 and for the EBU so could be entertaining!

Also Eubank Jr, Brough, Stalker and Fagan on could be a decent little show

Not 100% but think that because the board hav put gethin v flannigan for british title to purse bids is why matthews gethin is for the wba title. Good fight hope gethin gets the win.

Is that in the same way as you can't fight for a European title immediately after a loss ?? ..... :KO:

Not on the schedule at the moment. Stuart Hall's defending his title on June 7th, if it isn't the mandatory it's almost certain to be Butler, likely at the Echo Arena, Liam Smith's expecting to be out around then, so if it is Hall-Butler, I would guess that Selkirk-Carslaw will be on the undercard as well.

The BBBofC circular said it had to take place by May 2014. I'm not sure how much weight that holds or if Warren would be able to pay Carslaw a bit more and change it or not.

Derry beat Crolla for the British after a loss to Marsili I think Derrys power will be the differance in this one and see him stopping Gethin in the middle rounds

Not unusual for the fight to be after the specified date, it didn't go to purse bids initially, if Carslaw and Gilmour kicked up a fuss over the fight being after May, it would probably go out to purse bids, Fwank would win and the fight would be after the summer. Best for all parties not to rock the boat.

I thought you were talking about me then for a moment. I almost dropped my spliff into my brandy. That'd be bad. The woman who has her head in my lap is wearing a lot of hair spray.

I could have spontaneously combusted.

I'm alright though.
Good lad, think you would do about 9.9 though. Without the flat cap.

Board circular said it was at the Echo on the same date, but it said Gethin-Mathews was at the Echo too, so I'm assuming it's a mistake, so it could be on this one, but there's fights on the circular that aren't happening so there's no guarantee of it being correct.
