Well, I must say I didn't see this happening before the bout started. But going into the final round - Round 4, I said to a mate at the bar my concern with Pitt was his defence, and didn't Aloua expose it. Huge upset in my book. Well done to Aloua after getting well beaten early on in the bout.

Really surprised by this one. Aloua was schooled by Daniel Amman. I thought Pitt would win comfortably.

Don't forget Ammann is a southpaw.
Some boxers just can't handle them.

Very true, Matty, very true indeed,an example that comes to mind is 'Sugar" Shane Mosley v 'Winky' Wright. In my opinion, 'Sugar' was a better and more complete fighter than 'Winky', yet was stymied by an awkward southpaw .
On that note, just because boxer a can't get past boxer b, doesn't mean he isn't any good, look at Shane Mosley/Vernon Forest/Ricardo Mayorga conundrum.

Brad looked very smart when he was handing out the belts.
He must have a very good tailor; that suit was a beauty!

Team Aloua had the option to fight Mark Flanagan, but decided on Pitt. I guess they figured Pitt an easier task.
Flanagan is now challenging Ammann for vacant Oz cruiser title in Townsville on May 24
