What does everyone think about this. Surely Limond's got a few more fights at the top left?

Willie v Curtis on Rickys undercard would be my bet

Good decision from Limond.

He has a title and hasn't been able to defend it because Gilmour couldn't arrange for him to fight either one of his fighters or some unknown middle aged Ghanaian blown up bantamweight on one of his overpriced dinner shows.

Do use think woodhouse would come to Scotland for it as he is the champion ? Hope does happen good fight for both belts

Crolla completely took him apart, didn't hurt him at any point but Crolla dominated every second of the fight, in Limond's backyard, 1 judge gave Limond a share of one round, the other two had it 120-108 to Crolla.

Fwank put it out there that Curtis had turned down 50 to fight Brad. Had a better offer.

I know its all about the money but isn't lets say 40k to face Limond a lot better than 50k to face Saunders ? Because Curtis would beat Limond and can then pick up another good purse in the next one

This is true. The professor is from Accra. And he is tough.....

...as teak.

Limond had tremendous momentum after that terrific Khan fight, but he slipped away after that.

He was a gutsy fighter , slightly vulnerable but honest in the ring.

I'm not sure why he didnt earn a small fortune, perhaps he didnt enjoy the representation or the issue lay with him working full time.

Either way, good luck to him if he's thinking of retiring from the sport.

If the offer was good the lure of the commonwealth title would take me Scotland, I think me and willie makes perfect sense, both belts on the line, the winner would be in a great position as British and commonwealth champion, I'm ready for the challenge if promoters and managers can put the right deal together that suits both myself and willie
