Possible case of mistaken identity? Early in his career Rocky Marciano fought "unbeaten Canadian light heavyweight prospect" Eddie Ross in Providence, RI. Ross was knocked out in the first round, was out cold before he hit the canvas. A miracle transpired when he then travelled 448 miles/721 kliks to Quebec City the very next day and fought Bill Sparks at Quebec City, knocking him out in 4 rounds. Talk about tough!
