Laszlo Papp was over 30, I believe.

Sven Ottke was two months shy of being 30 when he turned pro and he didn´t do too bad. Ottke was a top amateur who failed to win an olympic medal in three attempts.

Matt Skelton was 35 years, 8 months when he turned pro.
DaVarryl Williamson was 25 days short of 32.
