Now this I find interesting.

Coming from an age where I used to sometimes have to wait a month or three to find out boxing results to where boxing fans are now rating their like of fighters by how many people he follows on Twitter just drums in what an old bastard I am

This is not a dig at rossij8. Just an observation as to how things have changed.

Where will we be in 5 or 10 years? Live video cams with a boxer while he's on his morning run?

I like him. Looks a great fighter and super confident.

I'm sure I recall him saying at the start of his career he wasn't going to be like his father. Was going to be himself.

Not happened. He's an embarrassing parody. Not a bad fighter though it's early but I can't warm to him either.

I don't mind him. Not bothered by arrogant personalities in sportsmen, at same time all the Eubank 2.0 is a bit embarrassing.

Basically if he starts having interesting fights I don't care what he's like outside the ring.

To be quite honest boxing has needed a Chris Eubank type figure for a while and it may as well be his son, its clearly all an act i remember watching him on at home with the Eubanks or what ever it was and he seemed like a normal lad when he was younger. If he he does have the potential that i hope he has, people are going to be drooling to see him fight guys like BJS, Ogogo (that could be a huge rivalry), Ryder, etc. Fans favourite v the arrogant guy its great PR.

These type of things help keep the sport main stream.

He just has no personality from what i can see. I do actually quite like him as a fighter and like the way he has been matched and the attitude he takes into his fight he ships a few but swings hard and spiteful.

Anything we hear from him though seems so contrived its a bit of a schtick. Would like to know what he is really like.

No he's a complete and utter knob.

I like good people that have manners, respect and decency. The likes of De Gale and Eubank jr I can't be done with. I've no time for people that don't have the ability to behave properly towards others.

I think he's a knob...but it looks like there is some substance there in terms of his boxing...

He will polarise opinion, which means once he reaches domestic level and fights the other guys he will generate interest.

There's one thing being confident but to be overly cocky when your a new pro and showing disdain and arrogance towards opponents makes him a d**k in my books. He acts like he's the greatest fighter to lace on a pair of gloves, quite looking forward to seeing him given a boxing lesson just so I can hear how cocky he is when he's been beaten.

He isn't a bad fighter but his lack of punch power will hurt and his chin hasn't been tested, just wish he would stop trying to copy his dad.

I know lads who met him in Ibiza who said he is just as bad in real life, so no. Met people who met Junior Witter on holiday and said he was great and nothing like his tv persona.

Yea i met Junior back at the boxers hotel when my bro fought him in Prizefighter
he came across quite shy and was happy to take photos and have a bit of a laugh

Eubank Junior just comes across as very aggressive out the ring and a pratt

would like to see him in with someone for British title though , someone who can fight

I was very interested in Chris jr when he turned pro, I was honestly expecting him to be better than he is. I am not suprised he's following his fathers antics as its all marketing. Im just sick of all his philosophy tweets, he seems to be tweeting more shite each time. His dad could get away with it because he was a tit but he was a tit that everyone hated but brought fans to his fights. Jr hasnt got that appeal. I sort of like him

After he'd had 7 or 8 fights I thought he wasn't going to amount to much but he is showing improvement. I really want to see him in a fight he could lose, so we can see him tested. It sounds like they want to get him to 20-0 before they make a move.

It wasn't (honest) It was just said in general

I wonder if you had this topic on a forum when Cassius Clay was 14-0 and what sort of things people would be saying about him? but he put bums on seats, and so does the boy Eubank (even if some of that is still is dads presence)

Always helps to have a villain either in a pantomime or a boxing promotion.

Personally as entertaining as he is, and as surprised as I have been by his progress after a limited amateur carere and seeing his early fights, I cannot see him going beyond a shot at the British title.

How many tickets does he sell then?

I like Eubank, always in great shape and for me he's a personality in the ring outside of it. Hopefully he'll be boxing regularly this year and challenging for a British title by the end of it.
