Lads what do you think of Josh Warrington against Munroe. Munroe hasn't really showed any form since leaving Maloney but in his prime would have been much better than Warrington. Has he slipped that much that he could lose to Warrington? The tipsters think so

Another great match on this teriffic card. Warrington is very fit (as was Rendall back in the day) and I think this is the deciding factor. I expect Josh to wear him down and win by points or late K.O.

I was leaning that way also, but its significant during the weigh in Eddie Hearn was speaking to Munroe and was making it obvious where his loyalities are. Now if he is behind Munroe, surely he must think he can take this particularly knowing after the Selby defeat Munroe can ill afford another loss.

I am backing Munroe, I don't think he has slipped that much he just lost to Quigg and Selby (because of power)

Selby wasn't power. It was his relentless work rate and non stop punching that forced the ref in. Glad he did mind as I had a fair wedge on Rendall being stopped.

I dont think it was just to do with power. It was to do with skill aswell. Munroe plods forward constantly with no real thought for defense and he doesnt have much pop on his punches

Don't know how many tickets sells but I know josh did over 500 last two times he boxed in Leeds and as far as I'm aware its josh who's signed with matchroom and there using rendall for name factor so I'd presume Hearn wants Warrington to win

I know mate, I'm only looking at this from a neutral point of view so don't take it personal.Thinking about sticking money on Josh, but just was surprised to see Hearn cosying up to Munroe. Gave me second thoughts about my bet.

Doesn't seem to be, up on the schedule now, Gavin McDonell-Josh Wale on there, Warrington defending the Commonwealth, it's at the arena as well, so I'm guessing they're closing most of it off. Not sure what the rest of the undercard will be, Eddie doesn't have many fighters in Yorkshire, Coyle could be on there and Coldwell may provide some of it as well.[/quote]

Was originally going to be a prizefighter in hull. With Campbell being out Leeds makes more sense and they just stuck with the date to give more preparation time for Froch-Groves. Coyle is definitely on the bill and think Boylan is too. From what Stephen smith was telling people all night he's boxing Saucedo on this show unless he was just putting people off the scent a bit

If Smith was fighting Saucedo, why isn't the show in Liverpool? He's a bigger draw than anyone else currently on the card, stick Paul and Callum on there as well, one of them against Rocky Fielding, then put Warrington and McDonell on as well it would make a lot more sense.

Smith is definitely fighting Saucedo either in Leeds or on Wembley bill. Next show in Liverpool is July 12th Bellew and cleverly both on bill.

Weird putting boylan on it as he shifts tickets down here. Must just be a keep busy fight
