I see this is now set for the 6th June in Bedworth as another Super Feather British Title Eliminator on a decent looking show.

Troy had a cracking win against Chris Male last year in their Midlands Title bout and i'm sure the majority were shocked at him winning by stoppage. Would be great to see him carry on this form into the Clark fight and get a shot at bringing the title to Coventry.

I know there are a few who post on here that will be close to the fight on both sides and i'm guessing Maley will be too as i'm sure your brother will be interested to see how it goes too and Ronnie himself posts on here.

What are people's thoughts on this?

I think this fight is going to be up there for fight of the year. Looking at both their styles it should mesh very well. Neither like to go backwards and both can bang a bit. I think the only way Troy win will be by stoppage or a home town decision as I can't see Troy out boxing Ronnie. Both have good chins so although it may come down to who's chin holds out best. My biased opinion would be Ronnie to win quite wide points maybe 98-92. I can't wait for this, I like Troys style rate him as a fighter and it's down to my brother now to prove how good he is..#SharkAttackTime :)

Lol very good fight on paper. Saw troy early in his career and always rated him and new it wud b a tough fight for chris (like u say didn't expect wat happened but that's boxing) as for ronnie I've never seen him fight spoke to a few people who hav and it sud b a very interesting fight. I might even go and watch will see wat the undercard is like first. As for who wins can't comment as I ay seen ronnie. Best of luck to both lads.

Very balanced considering he's your brother. I've not seen your bro fight but seen troy a couple of times and followed his career as he's a local lad. His performance against flannigan looks all the better after what he's now gone on to do.

No doubt they'll both be fit and raring to go on the night.

This fight is only a couple of weeks to go.. Ronnie is preparing for a war!! Sparring toe to toe. This is going to be explosive while it lasts..let's just hope Troy goes for a war too give the fans what they want

Dean said he's biggest hitter in the super feather division so I'm sure they shall meet in the middle,

I've only seen Troy box a couple of times and a little of Ronnie kick boxing on youtube. I'm not qualified to give an opinion on the bout but will be watching this thread with interest so behave yourself

I think James beats him. Not seen Ronnie, but I'm certain he's not as good as the people on here would have you believe.

Gutted im away that weekend was going to go and watch this fight all the best to both camps.

Educated guess, looking at records and reading fight reports over the years.

I always go on what colour shorts they are wearing.

Comparing records lol, Ronald has a higher ko percentage, a record doesn't give enough insight regarding ronnie ability to hurt his opponents, Troy can be out boxed as these reports you mention will tell say how good his movement is, he's sharp but he will give
Troy the fight he needs and will trade in middle of the ring to make it enjoyable

I watched Troy v Turbo Terry live at Bowlers & have to say that I saw no evidence of any hard punch from Troy. I saw what looked like a light puncher with a high workrate.

In the last eliminator he had, he proved there's power. The fight v Chris Male is on youtube

He can hit I dont think hes a massive puncher as his record would be different. Dougie Curran didnt think he was that big a puncher, 5 kos out all his fights. The first shot landed and he showed good finishing by getting him out of there. In every single one of Ronnies fight there is a shot that seriously hurts people. Dougie Curran was hurt badly with body shot as was Michael Mooney who was running at one stage in the 5th round. Abdul Rashid down twice in his fight when he has never been dropped in his career and tough as boots in which ricky hatton said. Podusovs was down twice that referee didnt count but on footage u can see it clearly. Ryan Walsh all over the place in 2nd round of their fight and Maxi Hughes surviving in the 4th. Im not saying hes a massive puncher but when he hits you then you stay hit. For me Ronnie is the puncher in the fight and be interesting as Troy has a good chin seemingly but hes not fought someone with punching power.

I've seen bits of both. Wasn't Ronnie on Ringside when he got that lucky draw against Walsh? I'm sticking to my tip, James PTS or possibly late retirement.

Troy was a decent amateur (wasn't he a novice champion?) and stopped a few. Barry McGuigan guided him when he turned over and said he had exceptional power; I enjoy the banter here and I also think if Ronnie meets Troy head on it'll be a mistake.
