... has officially announced his retirement today.
He's had a couple of minor strokes but luckily no lasting damage.
Well done Ryan on a very competitive career and all the best for the future.

speedy recovery to Ryan
Think I first saw him in with Khan and later he had a couple of good wins on the domestic circuit.

My fighter was lined up to fight Ryan Barrett for his WBU world welterweight title in Dubai on 1st May, but it fell through, I am glad it fell through now, would not want anything to happen to any fighter, it is good that he never fought now with such a condition, I wish him all the best, he left the the sport as a champion, not many do.
