r.d. i have to disagree on one thing, it is his fault he wasnt in shape enough to fight on the 5th mate. put me to a lot of aggravation did that. Im not happy.

Bollocks. It may not be ALL Ricky's fault, but surely he has some say in wo he fights. And letting himself get grossly out of shape between fights most certainly IS his fault.

Its part of the boxers requirements for his boxing licence from The British Boxing Board of Control.
Paragraph 8 - Obligations of the boxer
The boxer will -
Section 1: Use his reasonable endevours to keep himself in the best possible condition.
Section 2: Comply with the rules and regulations of the board
Section 3: Accept and fulfil to the best of his ability all engagements which are reasonably arranged for him by the manager.

yeah i'm getting fed up with the hatton debate at the moment
obviously cos its all negative
