From what i've read, seems like he got mixed up with gangsters in Marbella.

It's easy to get in over your head; he's probably a really sound fellow. It'll not be his gear and he'll get 12 years for it - he'll have probably got paid a grand to sit on the stuff till it got picked up. What a terrible mistake he's made and tragic for him and his family.

Keeping it in your house seems a crazy thing to do though if you're gonna do something like that.

Why? When you're in that sort of group drugs are normalised and making a living or extra money from it is the done thing. Very few people get caught and it makes sense to be close to what you are looking after - the person/people who own the gear won't go near it though, only the money after it's been laundered.

Well I would of thought it would be better keeping it in some kind of lockup or somewhere that it cant be directly linked to you. Saying that though, if you lose it then you're be dealing with something worse than prison time lol.

If it's in a lock up there's any number of people can rob it, if it gets robbed the owner may imagine it's 'an inside job'; it's better to be kept somewhere there's always someone there who's trusted. A lock up can be easily watched in any case and if someone is found with keys they're bang to rights any way. To get a lock up means renting one out or sending someone to rent one out - it involves another person and creates a paper trail.

Thats a real shame. I liked O'Meara. Nice movement, I dont think he had much amateur experience either?

I think he was a semi pro footballer who got injured and took up boxing to help get his fitness back. He then got more involved in boxing down the stretch. Very sad state of affairs. If Palooka is right and he got something like a grand. A grand for say 10 years or your life is definietly not value for money.

They took a lad from north west and made him stay in a farm in cornwall to, i think, do a grow because he owed money. Brett and another guy from Birkenhead turned up as "enforcers" and the guy shot them both before burning their bodies in the van they arrived in and burying it in a hole on the farm!

Interviewed and spoke to Brett a couple of times, ex-army and an alright lad to talk to face to face. Makes you wonder how much ££ he was getting to drive down and check on the bloke - pittance i bet.

Lad up our end got 10years for heading up drugs gang in North Wales, starts weekend release after serving 4 years this summer.
