If brook does not face porter he should retire, he would have absolutely no credibility left. However imo he will fight porter as he no where else to go.

Interesting statement about Brook, could Khan be right or is it something else ?, I have always wondered why Kel Brook has not fought for a world title yet, with such talent and a big promoter behind him, it started all the way back with Warren and the WBO, something is wrong somewhere ?

Khan has also spoken before of how well he's done sparring Andre Ward. Ward then denied ever sparring Khan.

Apart from the doubts about Brook's next opponent, that was a pretty good interview from Khan. If he wants to fight in Britain next surely Brook is the only possible opponent. Khan will want a big purse so that will rule out any big name American welters and going with Brook/Matchroom will also get him back on Box office and i'm sure Mayweather wants an indication of what kind of numbers he can generate over here too.

Could Khan sell a venue out and SBO on his own?

Against Brook he would, but unless it is a world title against someone of quality, then it will be difficult, mind you after his performance the weekend, anything is possible.

If Kell gets a draw or loses or doesn't look all that v Porter then Khan could face Frankie Gavin - if he gets the European belt. It'd not be as big a bout as Brook but it'd fill a pretty decent sized venue.

It wouldnt surprise me if Frankie is who Khan has in mind actually!

If Frankie beats Bundu he'll be right up there; it's surprising how fast things can move sometimes.

Brook HAS to fight for world title next or I'm finally throwing the towel in with him,i like most have been frustrated with his career so far mostly,he's one of the most talented british boxers of his generation and there must have been a dozen fighters with nowhere near his ability who've had shots since he's been at title level,i still reckon it's been bad luck which has cost him but with him working towards eliminators, winning them, then the 3 cancelled bouts with Alexander,to go through all that, still be mandatory, and yet keep calling Khan out is baffling,he rejected a fight with Bradley because he wanted to get into a mandatory position which while i didn't agree with i understood to a degree, and dont get me wrong a fight with Khan would be huge and i hope it happens one day,but Amir doesn't currently hold a belt so after knocking back Timothy Bradley,if he has a genuine shot at a world title which he has supposedly, anything else is unnacceptable IMO

What is it,10 years he's been a pro? :shame:

Brook's first world title eliminator was 4 years and 2 months ago.

He has had 5 world title eliminators.

People tend to forget just how pathetic Brook's career has been.

Is Porter the dreadlocked fellow? I saw him clubbing somebody in one of his last fights and wasn't particularly impressed. I wouldn't say he brings anything more to the table than Brook can bring, personally.

The dreadlocked guy may be Thurman, and I'd favor him even more against Brook.

Come on son. Keith Thurman is the fella you saw.

Re; Brook - his career has been frustrating. To put it into context; he was WBO.1 contender when he left allegedly.

Did Brook fight Lovermore N'Dou. Didn't he stop he as well? Don't worry I'll check, but I seem to remember he looked pretty polished that night. I don't think he's going to be "top" top, but he'll be competitive.

Yes - Keith Thurman or someone was the guy. Porter I haven't seen yet my mistake.

Kel Brook is obviously looking to set a new world record for world title eliminators without actually fighting for a world title.
