What time is the ''face off'' / ''q&a'' this saturday in the printworks in Manchester?

so this one rolls around this weekend does it then? That stunt with the tables didn't make Tyson look so good imo. Normally I like him.

Why was it announced ages ago, such a long build up to what IMO is not as big a fight as Warren is making it to be.

Starts at 2pm.

I couldnt give a toss about that fight to be honest. How many people really think Chisora has a shot of winning in all honesty?

I dont think Chisora will win, but it is as competitive as most of the fights that we see.

I still think there's better opponents Fury could be fighting at this stage in his career though.

He had a high ranking before with one of the governing bodies and found at he had a final eliminator with Pulev and pulled out. Even if he becomes Mandatory cant see him getting a shot for ages! Didnt wlad just fulfill his WBO mandatory with the win over Leapei?

It's a joke of a fight! I don't say that because one fighter is lightyears ahead of the other but more just because of how's it's being sold as a mega-fight. The first fight wasn't even close. FW just wanted to take some shine from Froch Groves but it's just simply nowhere near as big. I saw one interview where FW was claiming it was a bigger fight as there's "more on the line"

Anyone know what the ticket sales have been like? I'm sure they could sell a decent amount but it's nowhere near the scope of Froch-Groves.

I don't know figures but I heard they were struggling. If tickets were sold out/selling out fast, we would've heard from FW. But it's all been a bit hush hush

It hasn't. You can go on Eventim and look at an interactive seating chart showing every available seat. It couldn't possibly be less hush hush.

I mean as in I haven't heard anything from FW on it which is strange for such a "mega fight" as you think he'd be boasting about ticket sales Matchroom style.

He would if it had sold out. It's nowhere near.

He has a chance. As I mentioned, I just think it's nowhere near as big as FW was making it out to be. It's not 50/50, they've fought once before and it wasn't close, there was no controversy the first time, there's no real rivalry between the 2 & neither fighters are particularly talented. Just seems a regular decent domestic dust up. There's nothing special about it apart from the fact the winner could get Wlad, but then again look at his recent opposition!

I think Chisora has a lot of miles on the clock and is a bit shopworn, I say that based on his last couple of performances. I think Tyson will pick him off, take a few himself, but flatten Derek. Derek's jab is non-existent, and what he's done against the last 3 opponents won't work against Fury. I think he has regressed from the days he was pressuring Vitali and Helenius non-stop.

I've always been of the opinion that Chisora, while entertaining, is just a glorified journeyman of the European level. While there is nothing wrong with that--- outside of the Helenius fight--- there is nothing there, in my view, that has ever supported that he was ever a contender worthy fighter, even though he did get a crack at the title.

Fury, since the first fight, has grown in leaps and bounds of discipline and has improved his all around arsenal. I think with this fight, we'll see some exciting moments, but in the end we will see a stoppage win for Fury inside 8-10 rounds.

Chisora is slow, predictable, and ordinary, always was. He's game, and when motivated, tough and relatively busy, but he's really a very poor man's Danny Williams.

Does anyone else find the new calm and collected Chisora a bit less interesting than the one that slapped Vitali and fronted up to Haye? This fight might be less "hush-hush" if both of them were up to their naughty little tricks in the lead up to the fight.

Smith v Mansoori for the British also on the card & Saunders v Blandamura for the EBU title. Blandamura is already EBU-EU champion. Anyone ever find out what the difference is?

You could see how fake it was. He had a grin and casually moved the table. Was hardly Hulk stuff and not a patch on the Haye/Chisora press conference after the Vitali fight

Looked like he did 0 hours training. Threw about 3 punches a round and still had Tyson in trouble early. I actually think Tyson has improved to the point he win win comfortably now but back then an in shape Chisora could pushed for a stoppage or a close points win
