Week 18 KO of the Week nominees

A few candidates here.

Rafael Herrera comes from behind on 2 cards to score a TKO over Tony Marino in the 9th.

"Terrible" Terry McGovern once again shows his power kicking the crap out of and knocking out Johnny Caldwell in the 9th.

In a rematch of what will most likely go down as Fight of the Week for Week 17 Pacquiao brought a sudden and dramatic halt to the 2nd go with Rafael Marquez with a vicious Left cross, and one of the most spectacular KO's of the Week.

Wilfredo Gomez blitzed Spider Gallagher in 1

and Wilfredo Vazquez's 10th round KO of Ruben Olivares has to be nominated for this award as well. I won't heap any more praise on it as it's already received enough in the Fight of the Week thread, but this is definitely a serious candidate for both awards this week.

Take your pick gentleman

It was a crushing blow.
I have to agree

Given the quality of the opponent, Wilfred Vasquez's KO over Olivares is a stand out win, in my opinion.

The Poll was tied at the end, but as it is both my and Mr. Fist of Legend's opinion that Pac's KO over Marquez was the most devastating KO for the Week. I hereby dub that...

The KO of the Week for Week 18 is Manny Pacquiao KO 6 Rafael Marquez

Congratulations to Pac and his manager DetroitHxC

With this Pacquiao becomes the first fighter ever to have won both the Fight of the Week, and KO of the Week awards. A feat which will almost certainly be repeated numerous times, but there can only be one first, and that is Pacquiao.
