I just see ageing Nard breaking Allen down again for a late stoppage.
Allen has been stopped before, and not just by Hopkins.
If he (Allen) does win against the odds, would it pull up any trees?
Any victory now would be tainted I feel, and doubts would still remain, which would be unfortunate.

Not seen much of Jermaine Taylor who is being talked up by the Yanks.
Is he the future at 160?
Any of you guys can put me in the picture regarding Taylor, it would be appreciated

The Middleweight division really is a desert barren of talent at the moment. (and no-one mention that bloke with the yellow beard please)

I feel privalaged to have been a child of the seventies and eighties with all the characters and match-ups we were able to watch; (and I include most other weight catergories in that). Saddo that I am , also envies my father and his generation who maybe had more riches and structure to the sport they loved

I've heard a lot of good reports about Taylor, but, as you know, Dog, until you see them in with better competition it's hard to say. Looking at Taylor's record, there's nobody awesome on there to date and he wasn't good enough to win Gold in the 2000 Olympics (I think he won a Bronze). Not that long ago, Americans winning less than a Gold at an Olympics, had failed.

Thanks Bennie, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
But I doubt if he will need to be extra special to succeed Hopkins/ODLH once they finally hang them up
