Was just looking through the weekend's results on Boxrec and noticed that there were two shows in Sheffield on Saturday...and wondered if there'd be a thread about it. Hey presto.
I know Sheffield's not tiny, but it does seem a little odd for these two to compete with each other.

Can't help thinking it might benefit everyone to spread things out a bit. Still, just my opinion and good luck to them all, hope they did well. Also good for the area to have plenty of shows.

3 Sheff shows in 2 days, you're blessed to have decent arenas to put them on and a plethora of boxing talent, Leeds has fornicate all in the way of small hall venues.

Leeds has 2 in 5 days after hardly anything in the last few years.
I remember the days of the Irish Centre having boxing!

Was due to box at Irish centre in the ams but opponent didn't show so they offered me someone else but my trainer thought he was a junior so sacked it off (I was a senior) turned out to be junior Witter !
