Has the makings of a decent night of sport at what looks like a new venue for Boxing, with England playing on the same night. Giving some consideration to it myself, some decent 'names' on the bill provided it holds up (and the opponents are credible).

Anyone know who's behind Red Star Boxing ?

Doors open 14.00pm, Aftershow party finishes 05:00am. Best Drinking boots required.

boxrec list a show at that venue on that date promoted by Francis Warren feat Hughie Fury, Denton Vassell, Kofi Yates and Mathew Hall.

That website mentioned a couple of those (Fury and Yates).

Red Star boxing an off-shoot of Queensbury??

Dont quote me exactly on this but I read that Victoria Warehouse had signed a deal (I think it was 12 fights) with Wazzas company & they would be showing the last 5 or so fights live on allegedly.

Makes sense really for people going out a bit of boxing then that even for the England game. Althoyugh think the starts a bit early maybe start the boxing about 6 still get a decent card on finish just before the football.

Also makes sense for tv boxing to be on that night but make it clear it'll finish before the England game. Surprised Hearn hasn't got something lined up to lead into the England game will be prime sports viewing day that.

Anyone know if the £100 "VIP" tickets include a free bar or is it paid on for drinks ?

It is billed as a 15 hour event mate - I can't see it including free ale (they are not marketing themselves as a Yates' style all you can drink and a punch up at the end of the night type of place).

If you Google "Victoria warehouse boxing" the first link has more details (the auto-allegedly process ruins the link and I can't do a bitly on my phone!).

Even reading it through I'm uncertain what its all about. It almost comes across as adult entertainment with some boxing thrown in.

I would be driving about 20 mile & will be watching the football later, so no chance I would watch it there & stay over.
I have always found that England matches & bars arent a good isnt anyway. If I go which hopefully I will it will just be for the boxing.
