He hates Ali, an unforgivable crime against humanity. Pretty laughable if he got banned. And I say that as someone who rarely reads his posts.

Some of the names he conjured up for Ali's challengers on the "clumsy" thread were hilarious.

He was yet another iteration of the same Ali-hating posters of old. They all followed the same pattern. Came on here . . .started out normal, had some good insights and brought up some nice stories about forgotten fighters . . then slowly brought on the Ali bashing, and then became a parody of themselves by trolling Ali hate 24/7. This goes back to the infamous granberry . . they are probably all the same people, although Duce at least had the novelty of creating his own quotes reportedly said by old-timers.

Before we knew what he was up to, he had been sending additional fights and details to us, which found its way into the database. Upon investigation, this info turned out to be fake and completely made up. It's okay (somewhat) to be a bitter troll on the forum, but deliberately misleading us and damaging our credibility is a no-no.

That's entirely reasonable.

The guy had an incredible amount of knowledge on the sport. Even though his Ali act got tiring, I found his other posts to extremely informative

The problem is that there were some nuggets of truth and they were interspersed with made up quotes...if there were newcomers wanting to learn history using this forum , then they would have been in a whole lotta trouble...

Yeah he seemed knowledgable but after the made up Ali quotes I started to assume most things that were written by him were made up, why would he stop at just one fighter?

If you 'rarely read his posts' how do you know then that he doesn't deserve banning?? He has ridiculed, made awful accusations against fighters and been putting the forum into a risk zone by making libelous claims about living people...that is probably another reason for this eviction. ..

I think his modus operandi was to put down any fighter that Ali beat to denigrate his performance and achievement and then put promotional efforts into fighters Ali didnt fight...Thad Spencer for example...
There were some very creepy supporters you are right...he even started on Kid Pambele!!!

He made up even stupid stuff that didn't fit his agenda. How tall a guy was, when he was born, anything, just so he could sound more intelligent. Even if you gave him a pass on the racism, which I don't, and even if you gave him a pass on being a jagoff, which I guess I would, the complete fabrication of events and quotes is too much. Good job Boxrec and good riddance.

But Duce got far more abuse his way than he gave back. I never read anything racist.

I occasionally skimmed the threads for amusement. Liked to read everyone getting all worked up about him.

When he first came on I thought he was just offering an alternative world of boxing that he ran like a boxing god via Title Bout.

I think BoxBuzz handled it correctly. People spout all kinds of nonsense and double standards on here. Duce just made a career out of it...
