He'll follow the money. I'd be surprised if that road leads to St Albans.

I hope he comes back, and gets swiftly knocked out, it's boxing karma for all of his phony injuries and excuses.

Yeah in a recent interview with Radio Rahim he said that he's not even at a stage where he can punch yet so will be some time till he announces a comeback if indeed he does. Just bores me now, used to be a massive fan.

Haye probably sucked off O'Grady backstage to get him on TV again, bore off Haye no-one cares anymore.

Haye annoys the hell out of me with pullng out of fights multiple times. But one thing I can't deny is that he is the best british heavyweight we've had since Lennox.

Two genuine injuries preventing a fight with Fury, who was going to get knocked out, cannot really be held against him. In years to come people will look stupid for believing Fury had a real chance in that fight.

The back issue with Wlad, who he went on to fight anyway, was different but I guess that was about taking the Valuev fight instead and bringing more to the table with Wlad and earning himself a few million more in the process.

Sure he is a bit of a poseur at times but he seems a decent enough bloke to me. Achieved a lot and as mentioned above, easily the best British heavyweight since Lennox. Not bad for a man with a frame far more suited to the old cruiserweight limit.

Do you think in years to come, people will feel even more stupid for thinking Fury had a chance than they currently do for believing Haye did against Wlad?

Haye probably had more chance because he carries a fair amount of power and "in theory" had/has the speed and skill to tag Wlad.

Fury's chances against Haye seemed to rely on his size/toughness ( he 'always gets up' )/or simply by way of being a traveller ( toughest mofo's in the world etc ) depending on whoever you listen to!

Fury was/is made for Haye. Tall, upright and easy to hit. Goodnight nurse, everytime.

That's why I said "in theory"

You could almost see the shock on Haye's face once he realised Wlad was quicker.

Fury had a chance due to size and Hayes questionable stamina. With hindsight, Haye never had a chance with Wlad. Not quick enough, good enough and frightened to death.

Wlad isn't actually quicker in terms of absolute hand speed. Haye had much further to close the distance and Wlad's punches didn't have as far to travel so of course Haye would be beaten to the punch. Also, Wlad was so difficult to hit for Haye, David's punching style was compromised and he was often off balance, detracting from his speed.

Haye was lame v Wlad, he promised to get right in there and didn't; I felt disappointed and he didn't deserve his big payday for what he actually did. He is a talented boxer etc but I've no real interest in him, I do think he messed Fury about.

Correct. I still rate him as one of the best heavyweights out there.
