With Jarrod Fletcher fighting Gennady Golovkin in July where does this leave Daniel Geale?

Disappoint that its fletch and not Daniel? I hope this does not mean another Mundine 'keep busy' fight

Perhaps Macklin is still up for a fight?

GGG has applied to the WBA for an exemption to fight geale instead of fletcher

Fletcher will be entitled to feel hard done by if he misses out after being named mandatory challenger. Perhaps they will deposit some money in his bank account to appease him?

That would seem fair.

I want geale to get the fight but also want fletcher to get his shot. Everyone seems to be supportive of geale getting the fight but I would be blowing up if they were taking fletcher a spot to give to anyone other than an Aussie.

if fletcher was to get the next fight, I don't see too much of an issue with this one going to geale. I personally think its a winnable fight for geale. then they can push the fletcher v geale fight for nov/dec, and hopefully something bigger in the us early 2015.

I don't have a problem with Fletcher not getting the fight next. The exemption simply means that Fletcher gets his shot after GGG-Geale, not that he doesn't get one at all anymore. He's not deserving of a title shot anyway in my opinion and he'd be wrecked by GGG and handily beaten by Geale.

Hope the powers that be resolve who GGG is fighting soon. Also hope they decide on Geale. But Fletcher will have every right to feel a bit pissed if they bypass him.
