Excellent fight and one which should showcase Frankie's ability.

Can only see one winner here despite Bundu's pedigree.

A win should bring Frankie to within striking distance of a world title fight too.

Was hoping Frankie would at least finish 2014 as European champion. Hope Bundu hasn't declined dramatcially since the Purdy fight.

Hope they get a good crowd.

I've got a feeling Coventry, Birmingham would make more sense but where? theres nothing really mid sized. NIA and NEC are both big capacity arenas. I'd expect this somewhere aroundd 4-6k capacity, got a feeling the Sky Dome in Coventry.

Theres nothing really west of Birmingham (Wolverhampton Civic and Walsall Town Hall have been used by Warren before but both are too small for this).

A lot will depend on who else joins the bill for this 1.

Costello is a Bham lad isnt he? how many tickets would he shift.

Maybe lure Woodhouse down against Saunders if they can?

Barclay from Corby will probably shift a couple hundred if it was Brum to.

The Skydome in Coventry would've been great from a personal point of view!

Frankie Gavin has put on his twitter page it will be in Wolverhampton.

I think it will b walsall town hall or wolvo civic with errol johnson supplying most of the undercard like he has for warren b4. Great news for frankie and the Midlands area.

Great news! Was starting to think Frankie's talents would be wasted through no fault of his own but this will be a real test. These are the kind of fights we want to see Brits in before going on to world level, should set him up nicely!

This is the fight I was hoping to see. If Frankie wins this he's pretty much set up to fight for a world title.

I think Frankie will win this handily - Great boxing skills and movement. Bundu will be a tough nut to crack though.. Good fight for Gavin at this stage of his career. Win this and he should be in the mix with the top boys in the division.

Bundu looked really good v Purdy and I imagine this will be a very good bout. Frankie seems to be strong at the weight and looks to punch deceptively hard. If he beats Bundu he's made great strides this season and I think Bundu would be a handful for some of those very high up the rankings; he's a good scalp.

I think Gavin is all wrong for Bundu, people are getting very excited, as though it is a 50/50 fight, it's not at all, Bundy would have had a better chance in Italy, where they would have done anything to get the result, not in the midlands, plus Bundu is 39 years old, a good 39, but still 39, the good thing is that it is for the European crown, which will help push Gavin further up the rankings and closer towards a world title shot, about time.

The more people that think it's a 50-50 fight the better, more people will buy tickets and more money to be made at the bookies.

Don't agree with those saying it sets Frankie up for a world title shot though, not at this time, in this weight class. Which of the champions (Mayweather/Pac/Porter/Thurman) would he be likely to face in the next 12 months, without (or even with) mandatory status?

The likes of Mayweather or Pacquaio may vacate their belt if Frankie was the mandatory challenger because Frankie is not an 'International' star at the moment and it would not make financial sense to fight him, thus enabling him to fight for a vacant belt. Frankie is ranked in the top 5 for two of the main governing bodies and ranked 6 for another. He is merely a couple of fights away from potentially becoming a mandatory challenger. I still don't understand how Ushona is ranked number 1 by the WBO. Frankie should target him next if Ushona doesn't price himself out again

I did read that Ushona's team are after the mandatory fight with Pacquiao...would be hilarious if they refused step aside money and whatever

If the Gavin who fought Barnes turns up, Bundu will win. He needs to be better than the best we've seen to win this well, really. Hopefully it brings out the best in him.
