I'm gonna go for Froch to stop Groves.
Don't get me wrong I think Groves is the better boxer and should win BUT I don't think he will have the discipline I think he will get drawn in to a slog again and Froch will wear him down again. IF Groves does the right things and uses his brain and sticks to a plan I don't think Froch can beat him but I just don't think he'll be able to resist the macho in him.
I hope Groves wins I don't like Froch I think he's an idiot with all his hardman act. Plus he's really ugly and his face gets on my nerves.

(pathetic I know, but hey!!).
Froch stoppage round 7.

Groves finishes what he started in the first fight and wins a clear decision.

This Saturday's humongously contemptuous, grudge settling, bad blood spilling, pride toppling, career bruising, battle of fistic feudalism is NOT for the neutrals.
(I'd written that bit for my own prediction thread when I saw this one!^^)
Froch's ego has spiralled terribly ever since the brilliant Bute blow out and he became a Sky PPV megastar XXXL and he needs bringing back down to earth BUT I think Froch will again take some hard punishment and survives to grind down Groves in 10 rounds

I'm too excited by the whole thing to even think about a prediction - luckily I remain neutral so I can change my alliegance fairly easily during the fight

I'm going with a points draw. 22/1 at Paddypower. Shame I can't bet on it here in the US.

Groves stoppage between 6 and 8 after giving Froch a sustained beating.

Im gonna go for a bit of an obscure one.... I think Groves might be winning/dominating the fight like last time but walks into some absolute peach of a well timed shot from Carl as he's coming in. Maybe his trademark uppercut or something. It will be a pretty brutal knockout aswell where he falls down like a sack of spuds. Just a weird feeling ive got. Dont bank your house on it though lol.

Groves KO 1. Had a dream it would happen the night the fight was announced, am going to put a fair chunk of money on it & trust my subconscious.

Froch for me via stoppage or points. I am usually wrong though so it may be worth putting your cash on Groves.

What type of KO are we talking?

Much the same as the knockdown in the 1st fight, a right from Groves puts Froch down after a quick exchange, only in my dream Froch was left crawling around the canvas a la Tyson vs Douglas.

I'm going Froch to win between 8-12, I just think he will have too much for Groves again.
I'll be in Sharm El Sheikh watching this one and I cannot wait.
Without sounding too clichéd and despite all the build up and obvious dislike for each other, I just hope that they both come out of the fight healthy (Well as healthy as you can be after a hard fight)

How does making a prediction prevent one from being neutral? You're asking who you think will win, not who you want to.
I think Froch takes this one. Somewhere mid-round onwards. I don't think he'll underestimate Groves again, but I think Groves might come in thinking the fight is already won.

I think the above link is the video he is talking about. Gist is that Groves has more talent and that if he boxes smartly, banks the early rounds and then does not try to be too gung-ho and instead gets on his bike in the later rounds he should win a comfortable points decision. If he tries to engage Froch in a war then he could get stopped late.
Interesting view he has on the personalities. I agree with his view that Groves is a bit narcissistic and that Degale is arrogant and brash. His view of Froch is interesting. Describes him as having the sort of personality that would make him popular in a bar. Not sure I agree with that although I do agree with his view that Froch is very self-aware and needs reassurance from members of his team in private.
Good video. I find Dwyer a very good analyst.

I think the premature stoppage last time has caused GG to interpret the first fight in a way that isn't useful for him.
When he became more (over) confident in the later rounds he started getting hit, as if he believed that as Froch could take his own punches, that meant that he could take Froch's in the same way. When he started with the macho(chist!) stuff, he ran into trouble and fight was stopped. If he had kept taking those shots as flush as he was doing at the point the ref jumped in, he would have been on the floor 30 seconds later.
If he had survived the 9th and made readjustments going into the 10th and started moving again, he could have nicked the points win, but I think the way in which he thinks he was stopped without being too badly hurt will make him more gung-ho earlier and he'll be stopped more definitively around 6-8.
(I'm usually wrong these days, though!)

I dont think Froch is naturally a very confident person unlike Groves and I think Groves is right when he says Carl needs a lot of reassurance just like you say.

Froch is good at cutting the ring off and closing down his opponent. The POV above is all very well and good if you don't take that into account. Froch will stop Groves Mid - Late. Groves will go on to have a very good career.
