John L. Gardner vs. Ossie Ocasio

I've been working on my biography and I've never seen John Gardner knocking out Lorenzo Zanon cold for the heavyweight title in 1980, and I know Gardner defeated Ocasio by 6 - Round KO.

Youtube doesn't come through on my computer for the past 6 months for some reason, it blurs out.

Has anyone seen that fight? Any details?

If anyone has contact information for John L. Gardner, please send.

Yes, I got your message, thanks.

I'm not that interested in watching the fight, I'd like to see it of course but, right now is not a good time though. I will keep your email adress for later.
I've read that John Gardner wore Ocasio down, then in the 6th round there was some controversy because Gardner threw a jab, and Ocasio fell without being hit, being counted out.

I've seen four of John L. Gardner's fights. His fights with Sykes, Zanon, Dokes, and Quarless. All entertaining.

I've seen two of Jack Gardner's fights, one was a 1 - Round KO of Johnny Morkus and the other a 5 - Round KO of Johnny Williams.

Don't know much about John Gardner, but from what I've heard and seen of his record, he was apparently a pretty solid puncher who had some good wins.

He wasn't really a puncher. John L. Gardner was more of an attrition fighter who wore opponents down with his relentless work rate. His stoppages mainly came when he overwhelmed his man with volume rather than concusive power - although Gardner's win over Lorenzo Zanon was, of course, a notable exception
Thanks. I'll have to see if I can view some footage of him sometime.
