Performance of the night for me on the Gomez vs Juuko bill had to belong to Nigel Wright (although I'm only going on the TV fights). Jon Honney is a descent little operator who is MUCH better than his record suggest (good amateur aswell, if memory serves me correct). I don't think I have seen anyone pretty much make a fool of him like Wright did. Outside of the top 3 or 4 (Hatton, Witter, Lynes and Bami) I don't know anybody who would destroy Honney like that.

Wright did and look very capable in doing so, I'd put him in with Bosworth now.

I've seen Wright a few times and never thought he was much of a puncher, but he certainly took care of matters this time.

Something didn't look quite right about Jon Honney though, against Earl and Ayers he seemed much much sharper.

Yeah, Jon's on a bad run.

He does look well Wright, but when he throws a punch he admires it and leaves himself wide open. A counter puncher will love him.
