I don't like Carls personality but I've got to take my hat off to him, won fair and square.

Aye, can't argue with that ending tonight. I'm not his biggest fan either but that right hand was great.

No need to apologise, i think he's a bit of a dick too. But that was a fantastic punch.

I predicted groves, but no-one could have foreseen carl doing it with a 1 punch finish like that

Anybody who thinks Froch is a dick after watching the way Groves has gone on in recent weeks is an idiot IMO.

Can't they both be dicks?

Why? That makes absolutely no sense. You can be extremely talented and a pudendum at the same time. Degail is a dick, Groves is a dick, froch is a dick, Ryan Giggs and John Terry has won the champions league yet they're both dicks. Tom Cruise is a successful actor yet he's a massive dick

Froch has said enough rubbish to make him a bit of a dick

Groves gave it large before this fight and done absolutely nothing to back it up. He is the ultimate dick!

I thought Froch went about his business very well and had Groves rattled long before the bell rang for the first.

It hurts, doesn't it? Own your pain. Froch is the king of England. Accept it.

Mickey - we need a coffee.
You should listen more ..... !
The camp that Carl went through in Sheffield was unbelievable.
Nothing left to chance. When you're an elite boxer - and Carl is - then sometimes things get taken for granted as Carl did with the first fight.
Sign of a true champion who acknowledges that, plans and works hard, and then executes a strategy.
He doesn't get many plaudits but he does from me. Rob McCracken. Great trainer.

Froch looked a different and very imposing man last night. I don't think I'll ever take to him but I have to say he is some fighter.

Elite fighter? Then how would you describe Andre Ward?

Froch is there to be outboxed, that doesnt make him elite in my book.

He has amazing strength, conditioning, resilience and a desire to win and is also great entertainment to watch. He is a credit to the sport and his resume puts him above Joe Calzaghe (for me) in terms of ring achievement and willingness to fight the top fighters in the division.

But imo there aren't many elite fighters in the whole of boxing and certainly holding a world title doesn't automatically give you that status (i.e. elite). Mayweather and Ward certainly are elite.

Froch has fought an elite fighter and it was pretty much a shutout against him. But i take nothing away from Froch's achievements.

Carl isn't elite. Elite is something above world class...you find a couple every 10 years.

Considering Carl was outboxed by Ward, and would be again that puts him below elite.

Yet he is still one of the greatest fighters to come out of Britain in the last 30 years....wonderful fighter and great value

Ha!

I would also like to say well done to Froch. Can't stand his personality (or at least the public personality that we see) but it's hard to argue with his in ring attitude and accomplishments.

Carl also deserves credit for giving young George the chance twice.

Something he always wanted from Joe Calzaghe.

What hurts? Froch hasn't killed my family and Groves isn't my brother, I'm not sad enough that a boxer I favoured my a slight amount lost you utter weirdo. What an odd comment. Froch is a great fighter, not a boxing purist but well done. As a human, he's a dick. Groves is a dick too

I wouldn't mind Joe Goossen, he's mental, but he's experienced and I get the feeling that Groves would benefit from being a trainer's #1 priority.
He's certainly got the experience. He was nuts in the corner of Molina. Groves looked under prepared compared to the first fight and previous fights before that.
