Yes, and rightly so. Joe has detractors, but he is far more of a proven fighter than Hatton is. At the moment, despite creditable victories over Phillips and Tackie, there's still more questions than answers with regard to Hatton's ability to fight at world class level.

Calzaghe on the other hand has won convincingly against Brewer, Mitchell and even his win over a faded Eubank is impressive, considering how green Calzaghe was at the time.

If Calzaghe play's his card right this year he could be up there with the best, so will proberbly be a cock up then , Will Tarver travel over here or will Calzaghe conquer his fear of flying and go to the usa, they could stage the fight on the Hatton vs Spadafora bill :P :P

Yes, Calzaghe-Johnson is a good fight, the first genuine title fight Frankie's staged since Ingle-Botile I think. But it can't hide the fact that Hatton-Vilches on the same bill is another gimmee for The Hit Man (Vilches has been stopped in all four of his losses) and that Sports Network's recent matchmaking has been substandard in general. Arthur-Kizza, Mitchell-Virdee, Gomez-Juuko and Hatton-Pedersen were shocking.
