Perception is a powerful thing Froch

Mr Froch has performed an amazing feat not only by winning the fight and subsequently regaining the support of the media.
But by the way he conducted himself so differently the arrogance was replaced by satisfaction and confidence.
I went in to the rematch believing Groves was majorly hard done too first time out.
Froch had majorly underestimated him and Howard Foster had stepped in early and I think it was Carl's attitude that cemented those feelings.
More so than Groves persisting those were the facts or from forming my own opinion from what I had witnessed.
After Carl's moody belittling attitude in his post fight interview I really wanted Groves to right what I perceived as a wrong.
However.
Watching again the first fight again following the KO the last 30 seconds of round 9 Foster appeared to me to do exactly the right and safe thing I would never have been persuaded of that.
So what changed?
Yes Froch has shown what could have happened if the right had connected properly first time round.
But more to the point he didn't come across as a dick head and that's the real difference.
Your legacy is not just about results ,to the layman its how your perceived yes he banged out Groves in style but with it he changed his attitude towards him.
He should build on it now outside the ring.
