How do people expect him to do under Booth?

I see he's making his Light Middleweight debut on Saturday night against puncher John Jackson 18-1 (15 KO's), son of John David Jackson.

I have a feeling this one will end badly for Lee.

i think Lee will get knocked out

he was awful in his last fight in Denmark,,

only a few fights left in Lee and he is looking for a big pay day

Andy Lee v Macklin was the fight to make this summer - with it not coming off I fear Lee will be beaten and the marketability for the fight will be damaged/diminished.

I always thought that Manny Steward's unambitious match making of Andy told its own story with relation to the glass ceiling his talent would take him to.

Andy Lee seems like a great guy, but he's certainly not a great boxer. He's probably not very far above European level, has some nice skills but one of those fighters who's much more suited to the amateurs.

He always looked like a big middleweight to me.

I'm a bit worried that he'll be drained and weak at light mid.

If I could have picked any of the middles to make it I would have picked Lee. Just doesn't seem to have suited the pro's.

I wish him luck on Saturday. I fear he may need it

Andy's has great skills and power don't know we're it went wrong he blows hot and cold
Sometimes you watch him and your thinking this guys shit hot and then other times he's pushed hard by guys who aren't really good enough to share the ring with him

Nope he definitely is 100% former 3X world champion Julian Jackson younger son, who boxed along with his older brother, Julius "the chef" Jackson in the 2008 Olympic Games, the younger at W/W & the older at L/H ( who happened to lose twice has a AM to a Irish man, Kenny Egan, once in the worlds in Chicago 2007 & then in the 2008 Olympics )

Back to the subject though, I've been lucky enough to be part of Andy Lee camp for this fight thanks to Adam Booth, and he's looking in great shape, I expect his experience and better boxing brain & ability see him win this fight.

Why has he dropped down a weight. thought he was a big MW as it is?

Is he avoiding Macklin or realised the Middleweight division is too strong and has more of a chance of world title at LM?

You just can't keep a good man down.

Hellish knockout after he looked in trouble himself with John over commiting. Andy Lee down in the 1st round too.

I'll say it again, great KO---KO of the year.

It was a thing of brutal beauty with Jackson rushing in and looking to finish him; perfect right hook right on the money and a good example of why fighters shouldn't get careless even when their opponent is in trouble.

Brilliant from andy lee best ko i've seen in a long time.

Really hope the macklin fight gets made and they both make a mint from it

The clip just shows the KO and the moments immediately before it. It was even better watching it come out of nowhere after seeing Lee dropped and arguably lose every round.

Great ko but Lee looks to be on the slide.

A Macklin fight would generate interest but both are in decline and what weight will it be at?

Lee looked terrible to me, credit for the great ko shot but he got hit far too often & was hurt numerous times. Would be surprised if he went anywhere near Macklin now as it would surely have to be a middleweight, no way will Macklin drop down to light-middle.

I think Lee has found his level & won't go much further, he'd have no chance against the top fighters in the division. In fact, if he hadn't landed the hail mary shot, he'd probably have lost badly & we'd all be talking about how he should retire! One punch really can change a lot.

Looked like a cuffing/slap but did the damage alright!

He has shown he can box a bit before though last few fights doesn't look like it seems to have decent power too just because he can make light middle I don't think he should he's a big middle as it is
