While Carl has a well deserved rest after last weekend's great sporting spectacle, what would you like to see him do next?

Just for fun, if you were his Manager. Froch has already come out and said that he wasn't considering retirement.

I would go for the easy choice and fight DeGale. Earn a few quid from another big(gish) domestic fight. If it was going to be his final fight go for Chavez in Vegas.

Carl Froch should wrap in. It's the only sensible decision in my opinion. Millions now made, baby or 2 at home, job done. He's blocked more shots with his face than is healthy. People can go on about records but Calzaghe used to dodge the punches (and sometimes the fighters by the sounds of it - is it all Calzaghe's fault that he never stood up to Roy Jones (when it mattered!!) - where was Roy, was he screaming Joe's name from his ranch in Oregon?).

To answer your question I think what he will do is have another. The fact he didn't get punched much against Groves probably helps in his mind. They reckon against the Mexican he'd be a very strong favourite. I agree, he'd probably get whacked in a war and then win it late or on points. For me - he must fight Andre Ward or just pack it in. Froch has 2 belts - Ward is rated pound for pound number 2 on the planet and number 1 at this weight. How is that fight difficult to make? Virgil Hunter said only last week in BN that Ward has fixed an injury and he still expects him to fight twice in 2014.

fight on for me. And i've gone for JCC jr. For me its an easy defence and ticks off Vegas. Gives it time to build the Froch v De Gale Rivalry for next year before he retires.

I wonder what the feasibility of Froch vs DeGale being at Wembley? Particularly if Eddie gets another brilliant undercard. He could probably get Groves back in there, Chris Eubank Jr, Joshua... HMMMM, I wonder.

Go to Vegas & fight Chavez Jr. Live the dream! Froch-DeGale at Wembley would be a let down after Froch-Groves II.

Time of year would make it difficult, outdoors at anytime between October and March isn't really possible because of the rain. Millenium Stadium is an option because of the roof, but the fight wouldn't draw as well there, if it were to happen, I would expect it to be at the O2 or MEN.

I really don't want to have to pay to watch Ward. He's awful.

Not opposed to Golovkin as believe it or not Froch can win this fight..

Maybe a smokescreen but Arum looking to make Golovkin v Chavez if that's what Chavez wants (assuming Golovkin beats Geale).

I see everything except the DeGale part happening. Froch doesn't seem bothered for Degale.

The issue with Chavez / Top Rank - is that he has already turned down GGG because it involved a contract extension.

It would seem the mexican wants out from his contract.

Just can't see Golovkin being allowed in with Carl.

Where is Arthur Abraham? He holds the WBO belt & already lost to Froch. Why not a rematch? Abraham wants a revanche, so... and if Froch wins, he has one more title.

fights normally need to be close to merit rematches, generally speaking.

The fight was a 12 round beatdown. I would rather see Froch fight Ward or Bika than Abraham.

The world's his oyster. That was a very good win the other day. I thought Groves might do it, but Froch said he would be more focused and that would show on the night, and it did. Fair play to him.

I think JCCjnr would be a very easy stoppage win for Froch. I don't rate him at all. I think Froch would definitely beat Kessler again and would be too much for GGG, although I'd like to see it. The only real test would be Andre Ward, and I think Ward should box Froch in England. He thought him on his home turf last timev and should return the compliment + its where all the money is. It would be another big arena fight wheras Ward can't even fill a leisure centre in America. I do rate Ward though, despite his rough house tactics.

I don't see degale having enough fire power to keep Froch off for 12 rounds.

i see in the mail i think that chavez wants golovkin next rather than froch so degale or bika could well be next ,not sure if a bika fight would be really scrappy or a slugfeast.

I'd actually like to see that to see how Froch handles him. I thought Bika was in his late 30s by now but he's actually a touch younger than Carl. His record seems to indicate he holds the WBC belt. I think the Bika that turned up against Calzaghe has a good chance of beating Froch.

I'd like to see him in the ring against Abraham again, if only to claim the WBO Title ans have three of the four belts. But I just don't think that he's on Carl's radar at the moment.

My preference would be a domestic fight against DeGale, just so that he can keep both titles that he worked so hard to claim. And I think that Carl would probably knock him out.
