Good luck to all of you.

I made a post yesterday to see if I could enter the MDT tourney. Not sure if it is too late? If it is, I'll match my guys up this week.

Yes, just like D's ma on any given night, all the openings were filled.

Rey Bautista is a tough little bastard. Jeff Chandler most definitely isn't overlooking how dangerous this kid can be. Jeff is training hard, and looking to have a good run as WBO Champion

:OhYes: :box: :bag:

As a fan I'm excited for Marquez vs Gonzalez in Group A too. I've always wanted to see that fight.

I'm glad to see an immediate rematch of Olivares vs Coulon this week as well. Their bout last week was great, and the cuts stoppage wasn't a conclusive enough ending to such a dramatic fight. That should be another good one.

Poonsawat has his hands plenty full trying to defend the WTF Title against Terry McGovern.

I asked to join before Crease made the matches. I guess he didn't see it. Buzz is on the run, as I figured, so maybe Crease can get me in over some non-managed fighters.

How is Olivares rematching Coulon from a different group?

So I think Boxbuzz and I are going with:

Lionel Rose vs Jimmy Barry
Somsak Sithchatchawal vs Jeff Fenech (This could be a crazy scrap)

Okay to prevent further confusion to things have to be cleared up.

DetroitHxC wrote:The problem is that there are only 34 fighters in the Sim, so filling all the spots in the tourny would leave just two guys, and putting unsigned fighters in one group and not another is unfair, so we decided the final 8 spots would go to unsigned fighters so each group would have one and the sim could operate outside of the tournament.

All was clearly stated here in this thread.

Now, personally I don't care if we let more guys in, but I also want the majority to be in agreeance with the decision.

After the draw, adjustments had to be made for a number of reasons. the number of tranfers was only two and they were -
Eder Jofre & Jeff Chandler switched places (shouldn't matter that much, both men will remain the top ranked fighters of their groups)
Oscar Larios & Johnny Coulon switched places (again, both men are positioned third in their group and have similar placings World Rankings)

These had to occur for three reasons:

1. It means that the top half of the draw (Groups A-D) have Two World Titles and 1 minor belt, and ditto for the bottom half (Groups E-H).

2. It separated all the six titles, it meant that each of them had a group of their own.

3. To prevent future stable collisions in the second round (BoxBully could have had Jofre vs Poonsawat)

I've tried to make a positive impact with the minimum of inconvenience. This probably won't solve all the problems that could potentially arise, but if there is any problems, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

After the disgraceful action of putting plaster of paris on Jeff Chandler's head, you have been assigned Donaire.

Stop complaining. It could have been worse.

Look it's very unfortunate that your man Jimmy Barry suffered from brittle hands in his bout with Chandler. I know something about this sort of thing myself as last year my fighter Joey Maxim lost via hand injury to Eric Crumble for F*ck's sake

It's definitely the worst way to lose, it's unsatisfying for the fans, the fighters (both winner and loser), and the boxing media in general for a fight to come to an undecisive conclusion like that...but sometimes that's just the way she goes.

I assure you Jeff Chandler did nothing unfair or against the rules in his bout with Barry. Chandler is an honest competitor.
