needs to be a good undercard for me for this.

When the co-headliners are basically gonna be gimme fights in order to build up the winners fighting the undercard must have some competitive fight

I agree but competitive fights arent how boxing work at the moment. More about seeing the star turns built up before getting a test.

Last Liverpool card was dire.

Rocky Fielding and Callum Smith need to be in significant step ups now IMO.

Really poor card, sort of understamd the logic in poor opponents for the cruiserweights even though its no sort of preparation for Huck. Fielding fight is ok but the rest is a load of rubbish, not one even remotely competitive fight on the card

Couldnt agree more mate & if the match ups were more competitive they would be getting my hard earned on a more regular basis!

Very poor. Can see Sky getting stalled with this one way traffic soon.

Matchroom serving up yet more garbage, this card is essentially a hype machine for the later to come Bellew-Cleverly re-matcha fight which doesn't need hyping.

This is resembling some of the god awful cards Warren served up when he was on Sky in the 2000s, new age promoting it is not.

I think the majority of the board have learnt to ignore don now mate. He posts one of two things.

I) Slating Matchroom, regardless of what they put on.
II) A thumbs up smiley to anyone else who stlates Matchroom regardless of what they put on.

Just to pluck one out of the air that instantly springs to mind - the undercard of the last Ricky Burns fight - garbage

Poor card.

I understand fighters need building up but not one really competetive match up on there.

Factually incorrect, but whilst we're on the subject - what's your opinion of this card?

Card looks tosh

Can't recall Fieldings opponent giving Groves any problems at all

Also that was his last fight by July that will be 17 months

Not the best but definitely not the worst for a while and definitely better than the vast majority of stuff we had 10 years back such as Hatton v Pedersen headlining with Mike Gomez v Ben Odamattey as chief support. It's pointless even trying to debate with you if you're gonna try and make out that every single Matchroom bill is full top to bottom with mismatches, like it was 10 years ago in the Calzaghe and Hatton (pre Tszyu and Lacy fights) era.

I really don't hate this card at all.

Joshua is in an interesting fight, so is Fielding.

Smith will walk over his opponent but it'll be a good yardstick against Love.

I'll be interested watching our new cruiserweights too, see how they perform before facing each other.

No doubt a couple more will be added, it's definitely not the best card we've seen recently, but that doesn't make it awful.

Pretty uninspiring.

Should be routine wins for each of the home fighters.

Do you think the fielding fight is routine? He should win but I don't really know if I'd call it routine.

It's a step up for Joshua, Fielding and maybe even Smith. I'll also be interested in seeing how the respective cruiserweights perform as they are on to each other yet.

The matchmaking isn't really inspired in the main, but for me there is a decent amount of interest. If Smith performs against his, he may well have the Love fight. Fielding can be benchmarked against Groves', the cruisers against each other.

I dont think the card is too bad to be fair and i probably give matchroom more stick than most lol. The guy fielding is fighting shouldnt be a complete walk in the park I dont think. Biosse isnt great but he's not too bad of an opponent for Smith at this stage bar making the fielding fight and so on.

The card is nowhere near as bad as people are making out but they like to all moan and act like they know about boxing!

Firstly rocky fielding a opponent has got 30 wins and only lost 3 times to groves, Adonis Stevenson, and Felixstowe Sturn, now if that isn't a step up for a fighter who has only had 18 fights then I do t know what is.

Second Callum smith is fighting someone who has 15 wins and lost 3, so for a kid who has only had 12 fights that's not to bad really,

3rd Joshua is fighting Skelton which is an ok fight for a complete novice who has had 6 fights and never gone past 2 rounds. Idiots on here think he should be put in with a prime Tyson at this stage!

4th Luke Campbell, aggogo, and 1 other who I can't remember has been added to the card

5th bellew/cleverly have only had 1 fight in their new weight class and if they both win they get a show down what allot of people want to see.

The card is packed with talent. Of course we want to see all 50/50 fights but u have to live in the real world, not every fight can be like that. This is the last card before the season ends so allot of boxers want to get out, how can Eddie put them all in a 50/50 fight he would need it to be pay ppv just to pay all the fighters as 50/50 fights require allot of money to make

It's simple to me! If you don't like the card then don't go and don't watch the show that way you won't be dossapointed!
