I'd exercise restraint, I really want this fight to come off but for whatever reason their fights (as originally billed) fall through quite a bit.

A better present would be a year's subscription to b ox na tion. You get all the Mayweather, Pacquiao and Cotto fights live, and they also show Bradley Skeete's fights live in their entirety too.

Skeete is a very tidy, well-schooled boxer.

I was just having a laugh, in fairness to him his last fight, and his fight with Lynes, were crackers. All the others have been a bit tough to watch though and it seems I've seen them all live.

I think The Law is reffering to Sam Eggington, who did win an eliminator for it (against Dave Ryan). But curiously the board called for Skeete v Ahmet Patterson to go out for bids at the last meeting.

Which is fair enough. I loved watching Winky Wright box but a lot of people found his fights boring.

Look at the ticket sales on eventim it only set up for half arena anyway. 10K a good crowd for it first fight there was 4k tops.

I agree. 10,000 is no shame.

worth noting 10k is better than every one of Carl Froch's World Title fights in his home city

That's the full setup, but the only fights he sold it out for were Bute and Mack, Bute was around 9k, Mack was closer to 10k, Gomez should know more accurate figures.

I thought it was 9k but maybe right, also I remember the Bute fight not even selling out fully in advance, the day before there were definitely a handful of tickets available presume these were eventually snapped up on the door. I remember I had to sell a spare I had at a loss, then come Kessler / Groves fights etc I've got mates crawling out the wood work asking me to get them a ticket.

I was ringside for Pascal & outer for Bute, I seem to remember thinking it looked pretty full both times.

I've been to the MEN/Phones 4 U when it's half capacity and I think it's under 10k.

Swings and roundabouts though, I'd say they're roughly equivalent.
