Social media sources reporting John is going to reapply for his boxing licence.
Im still undecided. I wish he would take a trainers license out as I'm sure he has a lot to give back to the game with all his experience in and out of the ring. Either way i ish him all the bestTopGun wrote:I'd like to see him come back as a contender and fight a few times a year but try and win an area title.
Have you tried setting new sporting goals, mate? Extreme endurance training or something like that. Ironmans or whatever. Something like the http://www.marathondessables.co.uk/, for instance.johnnygreaves wrote:I did go into the gym with the idea of maybe fighting on. Good advice that. Alot of people who suffer from depression benefit from a goal or an aim, structure in their life to reach it. Thats why sports like boxing has many ex fighters who suffer from it as their life is one big structure and one big goal and when that is gone, the struggles start.Sklar wrote:Have you tried setting new sporting goals, mate? You were a very brave fighter in the ring and obviously out of it too! Takes some bloody guts to be as open and honest as you have been.
As others said I hope you can find other goals to set youself. Genuinely wish you all the best mate!
