Chacon v Limon 4 is the best fight I've ever seen.

Honourable mentions for Pintor v Gomez, Castillo v Corrales and Hagler v Hearns. There are too many more classics to mention.

More recently I was on the edge of my seat for the Hasan N'Dam N'Jinkam v Peter Quillin fight in 2012.

Wish Sky stilll did their "Classic Fights" programme.

My mate taped Barrera vs Morales 1 for me off that show about 15 years ago. I must've watched that fight 30 times in the few weeks he lent me that tape!

Brilliantly brutal fight and my personal favourite.

That one tops the list for me too, just because that was the point in time when i was completely obsessed with boxing, i was fighting regularly at the time and can remembering cursing the lord that i was born a 6'3" light heavy rather than a 5 foot Mexican!

The fight that really hooked me was graham earl v Micheal katsidis. It was non stop action when they both started throwing. I was always interested and had trained a little in the late 90s but the hook was that fight.

Adam Smith really loved the Holyfield/Bowe 'fan-man' fight. There was a man in it.... who had a fan strapped to his back. Smith couldn't take his eyes off it, and it got him hooked onto boxing. :box:

As a pure pugilistic spectacle Holyfield V Tyson was in a different stratosphere to anything else for me.

Great shouts -

I think the best fights I've seen for pure action and drama;

1) Barrera - Morales 1
2) Gomez - Arthur
3) Ali - Frazier 3
4) Ward - Gatti 1
5) Castillo - Corrales 1

Though you could swap the order and change a few of those with a few others. Arthur Gomez was special.

It really was, and earl really didn't want to quit, he stood and traded by katsidis was brutal and didn't stop throwing.

I was there, mate, and it topped anything I've been to in sport. It was all the more exciting as I was there for Gomez and the febrile nature of the Scots gave the night an edge.

Courtney Richards v Henry Smith really sticks in my mind from this year. Was a decent scrap between two fairly limited guys.

The fights with all 3 of these and billy scwer were brilliant. Dunne was/is one of my favorite fighters. Barrera is my all time favorite.but the best fight I ever saw was benn McClellan. Tragic end but wow. That hooked me.
