It's more to do with the fact that venues pay huge site fees to stage fights in the states than anything else.

you could'nt see the york hall paying 5,000,000 to stage a fight in could you, Maloney does non televised fights there sometimes, it just shows the difference between us and the yanks everything overthere is big.

I have an interesting article coming out on just this subject, the days when we see venues paying site fees may not be too far away....
