i see a lot of live boxing in the 80'sand 90's not so much now and i see all the well know british fighters live like bruno, mcguigan, benn, eubanks, naz hamed and lewis . i think the one fighter i see that made me go WOW was razor rudduck when he came to london in the mid 80's i was 15 and see razor beat john westgarth ,to be fair westgarth wasn't a great fighter but ruddock just seemed a very good boxer who could do it all . i wasn't that impressed when i see lennox lewis fight a couple of times he seemed a bit lazy .
so who have you sen live that impressed you .

It's too tough a question to answer. I've had great nights watching friends fight, but they're different because you're biased. Benn-McLellan had me jumping off the sofa, as did Gomez-Arthur. When Rhodes caught Moore, too... Too many to mention, but it's always a great sign when you're shouting at the telly.

when it's a mate or family it turns the tension up 10 fold ,i had some very nervy nights watching my brother fight and some mates .

I've had the night of my life watching my 17 year old nephew make his am debut at a wmc in a rough part of Leeds!

Being only 19 I don't have a lot of fighters to pick, but probably has to be Sergey Kovalev.

I guess Calzaghe would technically be the best fighter I've seen in the flesh in terms of p4p rankings, although it wasn't a particularly great performance or fight.

I also saw Kovalev smash through Cleverly, only time will tell how good Kovalev is, but he looked unstoppable that night.

The most perfect fighter i have seen live is Ray Leonard in vegas

McCelland v Benn was the best fight, Hamed or Calzaghe was the best fighters.

Roy Jones Jr. I got to see his fight with Clinton Woods whilst backpacking in the US.

Calzaghe or Naz I suppose. Benn and Mark Prince are my favourite fighter's I've seen live.

Is the question, what was the best boxing performance you saw live, or, who was the best P4P fighter you saw live, whether they were past it, up & coming or whatever?

The best performance I saw live was Kirkland Laing against Antoine Fernandez. Fernandez was 37-1-1 & just turned 25 defending his Euro Welter title (which he'd won from the great Nino La Rocca) against a 35 year old Laing who had recently been stopped by Buck Smith and had lost to Nino La Rocca.

I was hoping Laing could use his speed to win on points against the younger big hitting opponent but
he fornicating blew him away! I was ecstatic.

Marco Barrera best I've seen. Wasn't at his peak but even against Amir Khan (lost on cut) he was never in no bother. Lovely, lovely boxer. In terms of quality on the night, Steve Molitor. In my mind he was in a top bracket along with the likes of Mayweather. Think he was unbeaten when I saw him. Was a surprise when the lanky Panamanian Caballero beat him up! ( And Richard The Secret Williams! )

Seen all those in the flesh with the exception of Gerald. Yes, you're correct though, I was looking at a very similar thread minutes earlier...
