I'd take Joshua by KO.

I cant believe someone actually picked Baby Hughie to win

Hughie a rough and tumble fighter and not without an ounce of strength. But Joshua is a beast!!! (potentially)

Fury just barely beat Danny Hughes. Joshua would take his head off.

Fury is much too slick to get caught by the early onslaught and will give plenty back, Fury after midway for me

That does remain to be seen, but I don't think Hughie would be the guy to test it. Granted, it's a bit unfair to compare 2 relative novices, particularly heavyweights who tend to mature later, but Joshua looks a level above at the moment to me.

He took some huge whacks off Majidov in his world final and took them. Majidov is a much harder puncher than Fury.

Let's be totally honest, both fighters are much better than either has faced so far in their fledgling pro careers. Both have excellent amateur credentials. Joshua a bigger banger, Fury appears to have better boxing skills.

In six combined fights Joshua hasn't even fought for ten minutes yet. Fury has gone 6 rounds 3 times & eight rounds once. We don't yet know enough about either one to make a definitive decision.

How will Joshua start acting once an opponent is still there after 4 rounds? Will he panic when he is outboxed? Will he tire dramatically after a few rounds?

How will Fury handle power & pressure from an opponent the same height as him. Can his hands hold up over the longer distance in a tough fight (he's had problems with them already).

My gut feeling is Joshua early or Fury late but I'm just going off their results against inferior opposition. Joshua might completely outbox Fury. Fury might blow out Joshua in a couple of rounds (I remember thinking Razor Ruddock would kayo Lewis or Lewis would outpoint Ruddock).

I'd love to see this fight this year but we all know it won't happen in todays protected boxing world.

I would pick Joshua but we have to remember he is a good five/six years older than fury, fury has a lot of growing maturing to do not to sound like Louis Walsh but he's only 19

In answer purely to the question - right now, Joshua.

He's a massive unit and he seems to only need one shot and his opponent just wants to curl up and hide.

Joshua would blow him away with impunity, now, or at any other stage.

I think people are forgetting Fury's amateur pedigree, no one is going to get to him quickly, he is far too slick for that

Did you see the lad's last fight? He isnt slick in the slightest.

I wouldn't go off Fury's last fight with me, it was a terrible fight and for some reason neither of us got out of first gear but on this debate id have to go with Joshua on points as I believe Hughie is very hard to hit and will be very defensive and make it hard for Joshua to nail him. But i also think Hughie in a few years time as he develops more strength and is guided right will defo achieve in the sport

Hughie is off balance a hell of a lot when he throws. He also doesn't hit very hard. Not a good recipe won winning against AJ.
