Seeing as things are a bit slow because of the World Cup I thought I'd start up a poll for two of my favourite fighters from the late 80's early 90's.

At one point both of these fighters were ranked, in the top 12, by the WBA

Unfortunately they never met in the ring.

Fidel was good, Slugger couldn't do any good with Henry, though...

He was at ingle camp. He hated the slugger o toole name

Slugger O'Toole was only a novice. Smith was a monster. Smith by stoppage.

Correct me if I am wrong but Brendan Ingle chose the name Slugger O'Toole as it was the late 80's & he was amused that a black guy would come out in a green shamrock top then flick the hood back & reveal a black face.
