Is he not being trained by Spencer Oliver anymore? He seems to have a lot of attention of late, don't know a great deal about him but his name keeps popping up. Anyone know much about him?

Romeo is training at the peacock. Was talking to him the other day. Little eccentric but a real nice kid. Watching him, this boy is very very good. Offered to do a few rounds.kinda wishing I ain't now but that's another story. Extremely dedicated and boy does he live the life. Seen him handle very good kids a lot bigger than him. Tho got offered 5 g's to fight him on the same day couple of weeks ago I woulda fought Tyson for that. License run out or I woulda been able to say having boxed him. But I think he's a fornicating talent

Looked good from the various clips I've watched of him. Seems like a right character which the sports always needs - as long as they can back it up.

Are we being serious here? He's horrible and has looked average against everyone he has fought and got lucky with points wins , people commenting must be from his camp, he got a stoppage over pudosuvs cause podusovs fought ronnie Clark like a week before and took a lot of shots, was dropped twice.

I am not from his camp. I've seen his training videos - which I know are no true indication - and I like how he conducts himself.

Obviously you know more than Johnny, who sparred with him, but he's a novice so let's just wait & see.

Looks like he has talent but from what ive seen is overhyped because hes different. Hope im proved wrong.

I think he's way too short for Super Feather. He is quite muscular/bulky but very short. He even makes me look tall!

@Law: Far too short. & too in love with his muscle (well, his old man is. Weirdo) to shed the six & a half pounds he was over for Michael Rambaletesa (a fella who could make bantamweight), wasn't he?

To be fair I haven't seen his fights.only sparring.i know it's different to fights but in the gym he looks a million dollars And I'm not one of his team or one of his twitter followers. Just my own eyes watching him spar. Can only speak as I find in regards to his personality. Nice respectful fella!

The game can always use characters. The only thing I am sometimes concerned about is the age. 18 seems very young to be a pro and I think he would have been better and improved more by fighting better amateurs for a year or two. But that is just an opinion and at the end of the day time will tell I guess. Like the younger Fury heavyweights, I just dont think they are improving t the rate they might have if they stayed amateur for a bit. You pick up bad habits fighting some of the easier guys and they can be hard to get rid of.

I know, and so did Duran and Benitez, (and probably many others) so I guess there are pros and cons but I just get the feeling that he could have learned more boxing in the senior ABA's and maybe in an England vest for a while. As Johny says he is already having problems getting opponents. But it is all opinions and it will be interesting to see how he gets on. I dont share the concerns over his height or physique as I have known plenty of "shorties" do pretty well.

I have my suspicions about his build. He's been built like that since he was a kid and the first time he was selected to box for England, his Dad wanted him to stay in a different hotel with him, because he had very specific dietary needs. I suspect Daddy's special diet may contain things it isn't supposed to contain.

He doesn't even look good in training, dicking around on the pads with Spencer Oliver and now he's working with Tunde Ajayi He went through loads of trainers as an amateur because him and his Dad kept causing problems. The minute someone hits him back he'll be done, from what I've seen of his fights, he doesn't look like a fighter, seems more interested in showboating than actually fighting.

I like him, seems a nice young fella and is interesting. I'm not going to rip him because he is just a young boy at the minute.

Fight-wise I don't think his muscular appearance translates into punch-power and he was fortunate in one full fight i saw of him to get the nod.

He might improve, but I just see him as a novelty.

doesn't seem to be very active is he over training and picking up injuries I wonder?

He's only young so good luck to him. But the sky hype was down to him working with spencer. Too early to tell yet how good he is but one thing he's definitely got is dedication. Seems to love the sport and trains hard.

Sponsored a few of his fights as an amateur whilst he was with Brian Coleman (Kyber Colts) always had potential but loved showboating even as a young kid. His dad was getting in the way of things then as well ( fell out with Ronnie Rush if my memory is right) and that's when he trained in Mountain Ash. He has been at a few small hall shows in Wales ( his dress sense is hilarious - very similar to Chris Eubank Snr in his hay day) and his dad is always trying to get the MC to introduce his son as the next big thing during the interval??

Anyway like a few has said boxing needs charicters as he certainly is one. Wish him all the best and time/opposition will tell if he is any good

Be worth looking at the Inoue brother's. They have a promoter willing to toss money at them for matches and sparring but they turned pro at 17 and 18 and have already faced a higher level of opponents than many, many British fighters. Interestingly they are both trained by their father as well.

so why is this kid not out more often? only fought once this year.
