Rumoured on boxing banter fb page looks like sykes had to pull out and evans is in guessing for liams commonwealth title
He's ranked 22nd in Britain according to BoxRec.maley1984 wrote:12-0 1 draw not a bad record better than any European bums that normally comes in.
Walsh has been the Commonwealth champion for 3 years & 9 months, he should be fighting better guys than this.maley1984 wrote:Thats at lightweight not super feather only other ladz who cud hav been in contention r ronnie clark and troy james and they meet in a british eliminator but neither has link with warren. Fw was always gunna try and use one of his fighters like david above said

I know where you are coming from but Warren will know he might be planning a move and will be looking to get one of his fighters that belt!! I'm not saying that it's right but that is how it works. If Mitchell Smith had a few more bouts my money would have been on him getting the shot but out of the rest of FW stable Craig Evans is his best chance of keeping the belt in house.Horse wrote:Walsh has been the Commonwealth champion for 3 years & 9 months, he should be fighting better guys than this.maley1984 wrote:Thats at lightweight not super feather only other ladz who cud hav been in contention r ronnie clark and troy james and they meet in a british eliminator but neither has link with warren. Mzonke Fana, Ben Jones, Joe Murray, Karim Chakim, Guillaume Frenois, Samir Kasmi, Andreas Evensen or someone else who has proven something as a pro.maley1984 wrote:His had bad luck with injuries and its better he fight sum1 like evans who will come to win than a European bum. He ay getting a shot at british title cause sykes holds it. Who wud u put him in with.
The Joe Murray fight was very close and I'd be interested in a rematch.maley1984 wrote:His beat joe murray ben jones has gone off the radar dont know wats happenning with him. The others are all good fights I agree but its about business sense by warren. He wants that title in his stable. Its now came to light its wbo European title evans has accepted just waiting for walsh to agree. Think evans mate let slip abit early

The WBO European title is rubbish.
He beat Yafai and Selby in amateurs didn't he?Horse wrote:
Craig Evans hasn't done anything except beat low level journeymen.
I don't know or care about the amateurs. He's been a pro for over 4 years and he's done nothing.G0mez wrote:He beat Yafai and Selby in amateurs didn't he?

Both Ronnie & Maxi are in the top 10 & have a draw with each other. There's nothing between em to be fair. 2 southpaws, should make for a good fight!daviddee wrote:It's seemingly Maxi Hughes now who will be fighting against Liam Walsh. Crazy how easy fighters can be picked when there is money involved.. Obviously rankings are just there for a laugh
Nothing between them?? It was a draw in Doncaster which Ronnie won.. Fight was also at lightweight. Maxi has never weighed the 9 stone 4lbs limit. Don't agree with what your saying Ronnie is proven at Super Feather and Maxi isn't yet.. Fight should of went to Troy or Ronnie. Troy is injured so Ronnie but hey this is boxingJc89 wrote:Both Ronnie & Maxi are in the top 10 & have a draw with each other. How many times do you need to be told that there are no rankings?daviddee wrote:It's seemingly Maxi Hughes now who will be fighting against Liam Walsh. Crazy how easy fighters can be picked when there is money involved.. Obviously rankings are just there for a laugh
