Tassanu is a matchmaker, not a trainer. Yes, he does act as a trainer by working the corner of the fighters he brings in, but he is not training them in Thailand. Tassanu is providing a service, a service that has been a part of boxing for a very long time. The promoters that use Tassanu's boxers know full well what they are getting. If the fans are not happy, they should not attend the promoter's fights that use his boxers. I would say he does OK financially, he picked me up once for a fight, at the airport in Bangkok in a Merc, and when I commented on the car, he said it was his.
