Who have you got between a prime Corrie Sanders and Lennox Lewis?

Sanders has an outside chance of knocking Lewis out early.
But I would pick Lewis 9 out of 10 times. He was just more rounded of a fighter.

It could have been a carbon copy of the Shannon Briggs fight.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I could see Lewis getting rocked early definitely, but as they say "Class tells over time", and by about the 3rd or 4th round Lewis would have the fight in full control.

The exact timing and location of these kind of match-ups always seems to be a key determinator for me.
There were long periods of Lennox's career when he would have obviously seen off Corrie with imperious ease and a mid-round KO would have been a betting cert. Fully-focussed and with Steward at the helm, Lewis is the victor.
However, Sanders always had the speed, power and size to hurt the best and he'd have turned the same trick as Rahman did back in 2001 in South Africa. That version of Lennox, over-confident and under-prepared, would have got stuffed by Sanders and probably quicker and more decisively than Rahman managed.
Nine of out 10 times Lewis wins - especially as Corrie was often inconsistent - but find the right 'window' in their respective career timelines and you will find Sanders shaking up the world.

As people have said Sanders has a punchers chance.
But bearing in mind the word 'Prime' .... that would be a focused Lewis not a complacent Lewis.
I think a Lennox from 1995-2000 would KO Sanders within 5 or 6 rounds

I don't know. Lennox Lewis never really showed any special weaknesses for left hookers. In fact he destroyed most guys who's best punch was the left. Couple that with Sander's poor stamina, shaky chin, and often poor conditioning it's most likely going to be a short night.
