Good luck Team Woodhouse

Tough fight for Curtis but if he can stick to the game plan and keep his head like he did against Hamilton he wins this.IMO.
Rhodes and Coldwell achieved more together than anyone thought possible except them.
Seems to be a running theme with Woodhouse.
Good luck lads

All the best to Curtis.
What's with this 'Team x' business? Boxing's not a team sport, never has been, never will be.

Even the best fighters in the world need a team behind them.
Do you seriously think Curtis would have achieved all that he has without a trainer manager and promotor ?

Ryan's training career is just beginning these are his first big bouts.
I'm wishing him luck as well.

Gents, I'm being a grumpy old man. To me all this 'Team Whatever' stuff sounds too much like it's come from a US high school state cheerleading tournament.

Good luck to both guys. I think the Scottish crowd will be divided on this one. Strong support up here for Curtis. Both are saying the are fully prepared no excuses. I love these fights where I won't both fighters to win. Can't lose lol. Anyone know the story why Willie wears gloves everywhere? It's a tad freaky

You heard him, people. Never mention a boxer's team again. He doesn't like the sound of it.

of course the team should be mentioned , however what i find tedious is and its mainly in america is with Freddy Roach , he says "we were strong in there" , "we were throwing big hooks" ect , doesnt make sense
dont think he says " We got knocked out though "

Fair play sklar I know what you mean.
Huge entourage "teams" are a tax dodging tool and jobs for the boys on the whole and it's the fighter who takes the risks.
In this thread like I said 3 men going north of the border in their quest to continue beating the odds I feel the term team is fitting.

I agree with that. Both seem nice guys, down to Earth and hardworking boxers trying to better themselves. It should be a good fight but I think Woodhouse is fresher and fought more often as he has said to get the win.

Amir Khan is really bad for this sort of thing, probably picked it up off Roach.

My wife is bad for it as well, 'Shall we do some painting/', 'Shall we do some gardening/', 'Shall we tidy up?' She's no intention whatsoever.

At least we got to see the whole of Woodhouse's fight. When Burns was fighting, Sky decided to play music and show clips of David Beckham.
Can you imagine the outrage if that happened during Liverpool vs Man U?
