Met him the other day at York hall and talk to him a lot on twitter. Very grounded lad and goes to a lot of shows just to watch and learn. Has no amateur experience but have seen him spar and he is very quick.. Looks decent prospect. Looking forward to following him to be honest.

He's not going to go very far based on that. Very weak jab to put it mildly. Good luck to him though.

The Board have rightly insisted he boxes under his own name, Michael Peart.

In all honesty i thought similarly when i watched it, but i didnt want to be the one to put a dampner on proceedings.
Good luck to any lad turning pro, but im not expecting titles from this one.

He won't win an area title, judging by the video of his fight, I'm not sure he should have been given a license, looks like he struggles with the basics.

Looks a bit wild and crude but there has been some fighters that have had shitty fundamentals and still achieved something.I mean how the hell did Carlos Maussa become a world champion lol.

Why "rightly" ?
There are loads of boxers who have changed their names when turning pro - "Mustard" is not offensive and I don't think that there is already a British pro with the same name ?
