Sorry to ruin the party boys, I understand the second answer is lot of fun, but changing trainers was indeed a good idea after shambolic performances he had in his last three fights prior to this one. Eddies mistake was the selection of undefeated, highly motivated contender for the first fight.

Changing trainer was a good idea, if he picked the right trainer to move to.

So it was nothing to do with Terence Crawford being mustard - it was all Tony Simms fault !

I get it now.

Whats wrong with this trainer? One thing is sure, no trainer will manage anything substantial in one camp. Hunter took 3 fights and almost 2 years to make an impact on Khans style. What can we expect in 2 months. A miracle?

He was sort of.....he appeared out of nowhere as Billy's '2nd'....at the time I thought that was a right dirty trick by Fast car designed to undermine Billy as it must have been so uncomfortable for him...and what happens Ricky loses, Billy's dumped and Burns Is sent to train in the big smoke away from his family..

Thats exactly was the mistake. Fighting for world title at this stage, after those performances? They should have seen it, he was in crisis, needed rebuilding.

Mate, if billy or whoever comes on here and says that he especially asked tony Sims on board who's mates with fast car and their families are in business together in Essex beauty salons etc then I will gladly hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. Even if billy did for some bizarre reason ask Tony to come on board I would find it hard to believe that fast car Eddie did not influence the decision in any way.

He's trying to steer Luke Campbell there too. I mentioned to Campbell a gym he'd been training at as it is run by a mutual friend and he laughed and said "which one? I train everywhere"!

Does Sims train anyone that isn't promoted by fast car? Burns, Mitchell, Ryder, Joshua seems to be training there, Campbell's being pushed in that direction, Purdy, Barker was there, Peter Sims trains Camacho who's another Matchroom fighter as well.

Fast car must be pissed that Froch and Rob McCracken are like brothers otherwise he'd love to get Sims on board
