he's not that good , i think we like the idea of haye more than the actual fighter . i haven't really seen anything from great haye at heavy weight ,his last fight vs chisora was a good finish but haye didn't look great up to then then before wlad completely dominated haye .

Haye was an excellent cruiserweight.

Definitely. But he's fighting at Heavyweight, where he's never shone.

great cruiser weight but with todays giants he's not a real heavy weight 20 years ago he'd of been ok vs the like of moorer , holyfield size wise but now he's to small .

Wlad completely dominates every heavyweight so hardly a good comparison.
People blow smoke up Chisora's arse yet Haye did to him what nobody else has.
Like i say, his personality, lack of activity and his pull outs dictate people hatred towards him. People find it difficult to be negative about his boxing without getting personal towards him

If I was a top 10 contender and Haye wanted to fight me.I would want in writitng
I am paid 100% of my pay if Haye pulls out.And I mean pulls out for any reason.
He kept Fury a hostage for nearly a year.
No one can say Haye is not talented but he is an egomaniac.

If I was a top ten contender and he wanted to fight me I would use every excuse I could think of to keep well away.
Like him or not Haye is by some margin the best heavyweight in the country the second he renews his license.

What an uneducated comment. He won that Russian Nickolay Valuev for the heavyweight WBA belt. Also he would of beat Klitschko if his toe was not broken.

I certainly hope that was a joke about Haye and the toe.No way would he of won.

Holyfield was a far better heavyweight that Haye ever was, and a far better cruiser, he was better all around. Haye had better power, perhaps, though when you think about the levels of competition, I'm not sure that's true either. Holyfield was so much tougher, and technically better, hell, he should have won against Valuev, an arguably did better than Haye in his late 40's.

Holyfield was one of the best combination punchers in the pocket in the history of the division, he could stand and trade on the inside with bigger men, get his own shots off, and get out of there again, without coming off second best.

That and Valuev was simply a big lump with little in the way of ability. A fight earlier he was lucky to get the decision against a 46 year old Evander Holyfield, with a near 7 stone weight advantage to go with 10 inches in height and 7 inches in reach on him.

Manwhobets is a troll. The Valuev win was nothing special. It was a terrible bout.

Terrible bout for the neutral - if you wanted Haye to win it was intriguing, and he did what he had to do

Yes it was a bore but Valuev is 7' tall and weighed a 100lbs heavier than Haye. Which is an incredible deficit in weight to give up. Haye broke his hand on the humongous skull but still managed to make him do a funny dance in the 12th which was exciting.

Haye wasn't excellent as a cruiserweight. He struggled with fragmeni, looked poor against the stiff (forgot his name) he went 12 with. Wasn't exactly dominating Mormeck before the stoppage.

He achieved well at the weight but wasn't this excellent fighter people sometimes make out. He showed plenty of vulnerabilities. He was an explosive power puncher with good hand speed.

The size is not the be-all and end-all. He wasn't offensive enough versus Wlad, who has been KOd multiple times by human sized heavyweights.

Haye wrecked Chisora, a feat three giants in a row had failed to achieve.

Haye to go for this stinking hideous blackmarket belt would be a major turn off. Does he really want to be a 'two-time 'regular' (paper) champ'? Any belt allowed to be contested by the obese and diseased Chagaev and the ancient, KOd-by-Ruiz Oquendo is entirely worthless. If he doesn't fancy Wlad, why not Stiverne?

Sounds like a good route to me he should be looking at a warm up again a fringe contender / higher European level then move up the ladder from there. Haye's the 3rd best HW on the planet; it will be interesting to see if Wilder who was happy to fight Audley after sparring with him, will be as keen to fight haye.

If haye was looking shocking in sparring, as many people are claiming was his reason from pulling out of fights, then surely wilder will be shouting from the rooftops to face him because it would be a huge fight in the UK and US; if he steers clear its a good indication that Haye was battering him in sparring as the rumours suggest.

Are we talking about the guy who won his European title in 47 seconds and beat the world number 1?

The only people who thought valuev won the fight after sitting down and scoring it properly are people who dont know how to score a fight and scored for non landing punches.

Watching a fight in full and thinking he lost without scoring it thats another matter.

It's so long ago since Haye fought that I can't remember who's promoting him?
