I take it that is on the Sheffield bill? I probably lean to Joe Murray who for me has underachieved big time. Maxi has a high workrate but doesnt hit hard enough to hurt anyone.

Joe Murray wide points. Although will be wanting maxi to win. I'm guessing will be at lightweight or at 9 stone 6/7

Maxi moved down to super-feather when he moved to Wales to train with Lockett, after the Cardle defeat.

Would be nice if there could be a title on the line for Maxi to win.

I was reading it on twitter last night too. Feel gutted for Maxi, he's having a torrid time getting opponents to stick recently.

From what I gathered, it all boils down to Frank not wanting the fight shown on Matchroom's new fight pass thing. Still seems childish to me, the guy has been around boxing for so many years you'd think by now he'd realise this sort of behaviour is doing the sport no good.

I just don't understand why he wants to alienate virtually everybody in boxing that isn't part of HIS organisation.

this tit for tat between Matchroom and Warren will only continue and it'll be us fans that lose out. This one seems very petty but its not always Warren to blame.

Lets not forget this all started with Sky and their decision to go exclusively with Matchroom. Eddie poaching fighters also hasn't helped.

Murray is tied to allegedly, so why would he fight on a card that is probably going to be shown on Matchroom fight pass ? Doesnt really make much sense to provide the opposition with fighters if there's no title at stake. Hopefully Caldwell isnt so naive to think otherwise ?

Tbf to.warren I heard murray had pulled out of 2 fights with craig evans tho I think its wrong decision that they have made regarding the maxi fight. Which imo was very winnable and cud hav pushed him closer to an eliminator or title shot

I'm quite shocked although I quite like Maxi and his attitude Joe would of won this fight wide points.. I think he will just be as devastated as Maxi

Frank will probably stick him on one of his shows, possibly the undercard of Paul Butler's next fight when they get that confirmed.

you would hope so

Has a Matchroom fighter ever fought on allegedly show, outside of a fight where Matchroom has lost the purse bids. Answer is no, and this tell you all you need to know on this subject.

Diffrence is as hearn actually gets his guys fight so there is no need for them to fight on warrens shows. That's why the majority of fighters left warren.....they actually wanted to fight, eddie guarentees that.
