'If' Amir khan had not had those charges dropped and was found to have committed a crime would a multi million pound fight deal in the states that could draw another multi million pound sponcer deal let alone endorsements be dropped because he could not get a visa? Just saying like.

Yes hands of stone, this's years Ramadan fast is 17 hours so no eating from 4.50am to 9.30 pm.
And bearing in mind a lot of Muslims work in the restaurant/taxi trade and can sleep in a little later than the 9-5 peoples there will be a lot eating at 3 in the morning.

I don’t think you can drop charges in the UK. I’m sure its the police who decide whether or not there is enough evidence (through witnesses etc.) to prosecute. If the charges have been dropped, I would suggest this to be nonsense, or it was one of Khan's friends who assaulted these innocent youths... :D

I've no idea what this thing against Khan is, but you can withdraw/change your statement if you 'remember' more detail. This could make the case against a person weaker

It's actually 2AM to 9:45PM in the UK this year :TU:

Before sunrise to just after sunset. The fast closes a couple of minutes later and opens a couple of minutes earlier each day, in line with the sunrise and sunset.

How can it be 2am? :o I was in the UK a couple of weeks ago and sunrise definitely wasn't around then...

Fasting starts at dawn not sunrise: Dawn/twilight can be 3 different calculations: civil, nautical and astronomical. When the twilight appears in the sky i.e. light starts to filter through its when muslims close the fast around 2 am in UK (when the geometric center of the sun is above horizon by a certain no. of degrees). I cant remember which of the three is used for start of fast though.

Fasting starts around 2:30am and ends at around 9:30pm (just after Sunset)

(Obviously this changes throughout the year with fasting being shorter in the winter, longer in the summer).

There are extended late night prayers held during Ramadan, which ends late since it's summer - that explains what Khan was doing out and about at that time.

It doesn't explain what he was doing, although it does provide a possibility as to what he may have been doing.

For all we know, he may have been out looking for new batteries for his web-cam or something.
