Im trying to get to chisora fury depending on the ticket prices but failing that i might try and get to gavin v bundu as im pretty local. The tickets are dear but if you're sat ontop of the action i could well be tempted to try and get some tickets id like get to see gavin now before he breaks into the big time and i have to sit in an arena to watch him. And as its local i would drive there and come back after the fight rather than pay out for hotel rooms, food, booze and fuel.

But has anyone been there and is it worth going there for a live event? Im not familiar with the venue.

according to the magic of google it was the same venue, is it close to the action?

Also by looking that up i also realised the link i went to first were for the more expensive tickets and they actually have tickets going at £44 quid, so you have also inadvertent helped me out with that too

never been but from the TV looks a nice venue - i think frank has brought in a good local promoter called Errol Christie to help with the undercard as well so should be a decent nights entertainment for you.

I went last year for a prizefighter event - cracking venue . We had circle seats and got a great view of the action.

cheers for the input guys - a further question all the tickets regardless of price state they are standing when i go onto the booking site am i taking this out of context or is it actually standing instead of seated?

It's a very nice small hall venue. Get tickets for the upper floor and your guaranteed a great view.

Been to lots of shows their always good. Agree with insider sit up stairs great view. Also if u driving big under ground car right next to the civic which is a bonus and yates bar is 100 yards up the road.

Great venue, decent views from anywhere but as others have said unless your inner ringside the balcony is the best view. The £44 tickets are unreserved which will be the balcony and on the floor so you'll be fine with one of those just get in early and get a balcony seat...thats my plan.

Thats just the Civics silly site, tickets are seating and as follows:

£110s inner ringside (first 4 rows)
£77s outer ringside (aty a guess the next 4-5 rows)
£44s unreserved so anywhere on the floor other than those above or up on the balconys.

really good venue for boxing, decent views from the floor seating or good views in the balcony

I know its about 3,000+ for concerts but thats with a standing floor. For boxing must be around 1500 max

As for the venue, every seat seems to have a decent view.

True. With some fighters in particular, 2-D can undersell them.

Watched Sibbo and Cowdell fight there, and Gary Mason, and the view was as good as the action.

I knew i asked the right people cheers for the advice guys. £44 quid to be close to the action seems like a bargain to me.

Defo go to the balcony seats , been lots of times to see a mate , aerial view , but get right next to the front row...best view in the house....enjoy

Really is a good venue for boxing. Seals in the atmosphere and not a bad seat in the house!
