Do you follow boxing on Twitter?

I was looking at number of Twitter follower boxers have and I was wondering what is the fraction of hardcore boxing fans among them. Amir Khan has 1.5M followers, Kell Brook - 150K, Callum Smith - 35K. First thing would be to determine what is the fraction of hardcore fans who use Twitter. So do you follow boxer and other boxing personalities?

I'm very proud NOT to have Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and whatever ...
I can't imagine the level of dickheadism that makes you care about the random comments and thoughts of the likes of Amir Khan.

Why so negative.
I admit boxer tweets are mostly useless and often down right idiotic. However that is not a reason to dismiss twitter altogether. There are lot of useful news accounts as well as pundit/fun accounts with a good banter, much like this forum. I actually enjoy live tweets during fights, predictions, scorecards etc.

Less than the level of dickdeadism it took for you to make that post...

I follow a few boxers and several promoters and sports journalists on twitter.
Several boxers (Lara, Browne, Fury, Price, etc) and quite a few boxing journalists follow back.
I've been blocked by three boxers: Ward, Haye, and Harrison. I've also been recently blocked by allegedly for saying John Rawling is a very poor commentator.

Comedy accounts are another thing. I follow JimWatt69, TheCultOfHearn, DisMiguel_Cotto, DwyersCat, AmirKingsKhan, CJRossJudge.
Only boxer I have there who posts regularly is Matthew Macklin.
I unfollowed Fat Dan, all his derision and weaseling was too much to bare.

Whether you like it or not social media is the future and the most powerful marketing tool in the world. It's a lot more than someones random thoughts and comments. People like you don't know how to get with the times.

Yeah, the parody accounts are good. IMO anyone who doesn't use twitter is missing out.

A lot of people I know refuse to get on social media because they think they're above everyone else who uses it. Or they think its something that lowers your masculinity.

Everything is not about "getting with the times" and I really don't see how not liking Twitter makes one a dickhead ... but I can definitely see how caring about what Amir Khan says makes someone a dickhead.
Twitter and Instagram are mostly BS. The random thoughts of people have largely been a disappointment. A billion selfies, pictures of dumb shit, and nonsense thoughts ... whatever, do what makes you guys happy as long as it doesn't harm anyone else.
I just think that most of the tweets I've read are kinda corny and appeal to the dumbest part of our intellect.
Go #USASoccer. Didn't get it done in #WorldCupBrazil. Next Year #2015WorldCup.

Not liking twitter doesn't make you a dickhead.
Calling someone a dickhead for keeping up with their favorite athletes or whatever does.

Was thinking about unfollowing espnboxing just cos of the retweets from fat dan...
I follow
https://twitter.com/MichellePhelps and several other boxing sites so I'm pretty sure I can live without ESPN...
Should I let them know why I'm unfollowing or just unfollow? have only been on twitter for a couple of weeks so unsure of the proper protocol...

Fat Dan is not shy in replying if you disagree with him so it's up to you.
The good thing about Twitter is update news and live scoring from certain individuals.

I wonder which boxers have ran through Michelle Joy Phelps.
